A product of postmodernism; defiant iconoclast. The inventor of democratism. I write to make you feel, see and react.

I was touched to see Gus Walz’s joy when his dad @Tim_Walz took the stage last night. Thankful for you showing us all what real love looks like, Gus. Let’s be a nation that embraces this kind of warmth and vulnerability, instead of making fun or mocking it. We could all use some of Gus’s example in our own lives.

BREAKING: While Tim Walz fills an entire stadium on Omaha, Nebraska, Donald Trump is failing to fill even a small arena. Trump’s rally starts in 3 minutes and this is the crowd. Retweet so all Americans see the Trump campaign implode in real time.

Pam, you have been a remarkable Member of Parliament and I have enjoyed working alongside you to serve our #Oakville community. Sad to see you leaving politics. Now more than ever, we need to engender a supportive environment for women in politics. #AddWomenChangePolitics

Trump is very clear about his intentions. He will try to install a government dedicated to himself not the American people or the rule of law.

@BarbraStreisand You're not stupid, right? Trump had record setting numbers that went down because of covid. Biden fixing this in record numbers after covid is natural. You're a smart lady. Why are you posting misleading lies? SHAME ON YOU

We believe Palestinian women. Allegations on sexual and gender-based violence against them must be investigated and Palestinian women must be supported. Today, I announced in the West Bank that Canada will commit $1M to support this important work.

@kris_sims @PierrePoilievre Where would you put the extra money? Would it go towards social programs, or would it just save money for the rich? We need solutions after the problem is defined.

@PierrePoilievre The CBC now takes about $1.4 billion from taxpayers per year To put that money in perspective: That could pay the salaries of about 7,000 cops & 7,000 paramedics That could buy about 2,400 homes in Calgary That would cover groceries for about 85,000 families for the year

We came to bear witness. With Gaza visible in the distance, the kibbutz Kfar Aza was one of the first brutally attacked by Hamas on October 7th. Ayelet’s son Netta, a Canadian, was killed here protecting his fiancé— may his memory be for a blessing.@YaaraSaks

We believe Israeli women. And we stand with them in their fight for justice. Today, I sat down with the First Lady of Israel, Michal Herzog, to discuss the sexual violence committed by Hamas on October 7th and our support of survivors.

@AnnCoulter This video edited out the part where that young woman willingly charged into this fight. She wanted to fight. This removed context is important. Get the full video - she was NOT an innocent bystander. Actions have consequences. Say it again - Actions have consequences.

I know that I'm not alone in saying that I have been TRAUMATIZED since 2016, when Trump first ran for office. To learn how many TERRIBLE people reside in America has been like living in a horror movie. I must have been really naive before. I wish I still was. Less painful.

As everyone plays back seat comms strategist today…important to remember the way people consume information has massively changed over the last 20 years. So suggesting Biden should “do more events” is a bit outdated (he actually does a fair amount and they don’t break through nationally….because of…the 91 counts from the guys he is running against and truth is the biggest impact is in the local markets because major outlets aren’t covering IRA implementation events), and just do more interviews..he has been (and fwiw i think he should do more), but the reality is..they just dont have the same impact that they used to (just stating the truth!) so yes more events/more interviews, but important not to shorthand it that way because that’s an outdated strategy—whatever you think of it…most people consume information on social media platforms. Which is why something like this…is very smart…

Have been reading through old State of the Union addresses (I know nerd alert, but it is interesting). All just a reminder as we look to tomorrow—-it is not typically a political speech even in election years for Presidents running…the contrast is inherent. This is from @BarackObama SOTU in 2012 when he was running..”We can either settle for a country where a shrinking number of people do really well while a growing number of Americans barely get by, or we can restore an economy where everyone gets a fair shot, and everyone does their fair share, and everyone plays by the same set of rules.  (Applause.)  What’s at stake aren’t Democratic values or Republican values, but American values.  And we have to reclaim them.” Contrast, but not in your face. This year is no doubt different (91 reasons why)…but truthfully that language would work in this year too!

Commentary Donald J. Trump Posts From Truth Social
Nikki Haley got TROUNCED last night, in record setting fashion, despite the fact that Democrats, for reasons unknown, are allowed to vote in Vermont, and various other Republican Primaries. Much of her money came from Radical Left Democrats, as did many of her voters, almost 50%, according to the polls. At this point, I hope she stays in the “race” and fights it out until the end! I’d like to thank my family, friends, and the Great Republican Party for helping me to produce, by far, the most successful Super Tuesday in HISTORY, and would further like to invite all of the Haley supporters to join the greatest movement in the history of our Nation. BIDEN IS THE ENEMY, HE IS DESTROYING OUR COUNTRY. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!! Donald Trump Truth Social 10:05 AM EST 3/06/24

No one in our country should be going hungry - and no kid should have to go to school hungry. Pierre Poilievre's Conservatives refuse to help- they voted against a National School Lunch Program. New Democrats are fighting to make sure you and your family are cared for.

Many in the media -- including this writer -- have been saying that a second Trump administration will mean the "end of democracy." But Nikki Haley's run proved Trump has difficulty persuading moderate Americans. For those who seek it, history provides context for hope: - Americans fought fascism before, and won. - Americans faced corrupt leaders before, and removed them. - Together, we survived the worst days of the Great Depression. - We rallied from the dark days of Hitler and an invasion at Pearl Harbor. The American people -- your neighbors, friends and family -- can defeat this threat. For those ready to preserve our democracy as we have known it, it’s time to pour on the work. ↓ There is more analysis in the latest post of my newsletter.
