The English teams will sweep all this Conference League every year. Last season, Chelsea weee even using their B team to play the competition. How can we compete with this English money. Imagine Burnley earning more from TV than Barcelona this season because of the equal sharing. It’s just madness. Imagine Palace beating Shakhtar Donetsk home and away earlier, like same Shakhtar Donetsk, because these leagues cannot compete with the English money again. In the history of Vallecano, their record signing is €11m, meanwhile Palace and those small English teams can buy players of £60m, it’s crazy. Other leagues need to learn from what England is doing, we can’t blame them for being steps ahead, they are doing everything right. We just need to learn, because the tide has moved, it’s money money money now.

I’ll tell you something for free. At the highest level of football, there are certain things you cannot fluke. Glasner won the Europa League with Frankfurt, this was a time big teams use to drop from UCL into Europa, so he had to face teams like Barcelona on the way. Still, he won the Europa. He came to Palace, with a small budget compared to the other English teams, he won the FA Cup, the first trophy in Palace’s history, he beat Man City to win it. You can’t fluke that, he’s a winner. He qualified them to Europa by winning the FA Cup , but they dropped to Conference league because of the multi-club ownership saga with Textor. Despite the setback, he has just won an European trophy for a South London club. In 2 years, he has changed a club’s history and won 3 trophies for them if we add the community shield. He did this while losing big players, lost his captain January, lost his best player to Arsenal in summer, lost Olise. This guy is a winner.

In Barcelona or Madrid, one newspaper is dedicated to reporting about Barcelona, Gary Lineker explained this in details, the media will eat you up, they’re in your houses, they’re in restaurants if you go out to eat, they’re everywhere and you have zero privacy. Gareth Bale said he didn’t want the frenzy, he just wanted to play football and go home, and that made him an enemy to the media, he did not know how to handle the media attention, he dared not have a bad game, they’ll kill him in the papers, it started to affect him. Anelka said at some point, he decided to be friends with the media because they were killing him everyday and he was not scoring at Madrid. He said he visited Marca’s office and they did some advert for a video game. The next day, there was a picture of Anelka on the front papers with him playing a game, they captioned it “Anelka can’t score in real life but score in video games”😂😂😂😂 (something around this).
