@teepee_h @greggislocallfc I’ve got a VPN on the go, I live in Anfield
English

From my own experience of school, playing footy as a kid and just all round extra curricular activities, iv always been around more reds than blues. (Not including people I know from outside of Liverpool, strictly from inside the city) but the flip side to that is the majority of blues I know or have known were frequent match goers but not all the reds were.
I’d say the city is pretty 50/50 in all honesty
Andy@Andy6times
Every school class, in every school year, in every school across Liverpool and Merseyside had a majority of reds over blues, every school footy game, soccer school etc was majority red but I wouldn’t expect someone who isn’t from here & didn’t go to school here to understand that
English

@greggislocallfc Naa deffo more reds from my 30 year experience living here
English

Couple hungry people on here… 🤣
I wasn’t lying though. 🤪💙

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall shared in a recent interview that since he joined Everton, he’s noticed that there are far more Everton supporters roaming the streets of Liverpool than fans of Liverpool. 👀👀

@iamisokokid @lukestanley03 Winner of the moron award goes to you, big man
English

@lukestanley03 Video of you getting jumped circulates and you clarify ‘it was 2023, I’m good.’ But why post it? Attention or drama? 4-on-1 and you made it to a game, congrats on surviving, but this feels like manufactured sympathy. City fans falling for it.
English

@rsnball @wayneleedsfan Mate it was obviously a joke because you said he was a glory hunter. And you say I need to get some friends, you must be fun at parties
English

@teepee_h @wayneleedsfan “Respect your dad less maybe” is a completely wild thing to say. Perhaps the wildest thing I’ve ever heard a support your local merchant say lol
English

Bang on. If you live in Leeds and were born in Leeds but “support” Arsenal for example. I just can’t take you seriously. You don’t get it and never will.

Love this from Danny Dyer on @PeterCrouchPod. 👏
English

@rsnball @wayneleedsfan Radicalised to say you should support a football team that's close to where you live 😭😭😭
English

@teepee_h @wayneleedsfan How are there such weirdly radicalised takes in football man.
Respect your dad less yk😂😂😂😂😂 get some friends brother
English

@rsnball @wayneleedsfan You don't have to break the chain but understand you come from a lineage of glory hunters and accept that. Respect your dad less maybe. I dunno. You do you, man.
English

@teepee_h @wayneleedsfan Glory supporting dad raises his kid to support a team
Kid supports team from like age 3/4
Doesn’t learn what glory supporting is until socialising with other football fans at age 15-16+
Are people supposed to switch teams at this point? I don’t think so😂
English

@TonyIncenzo I'm housebound and can't go, no matter how much I want to, so take your 'I can't help noticing I'm a better fan than yow' and shove it up your bollocks.
English

@wayneleedsfan So many people reiterating they "support the team". No one is saying you can't support the team. The point is you don't understand the fabric of the city and community because you're not from there, did not grow up there and don't live there. It's as simple as that.
English

@PeterRimmer74 @wayneleedsfan It's not subjective. It's very black and white. It's not about support, it's about being ingrained in the fabric of the city and community. Growing up there, working there, living there. It isn't the same thing to just pick and support a team unfortunately. Like it or not.
English

@wayneleedsfan It’s a bit more subjective than that I’d say… First you don’t know the back story, secondly it depends how committed they are. If they make it to 5-10 games a season and have done for years I don’t really have a problem with it
English

@rsnball @wayneleedsfan It's completely logical and factual. You just don't like it.
English

@yenmata @wayneleedsfan @gavaghan_mark You can absolutely support who you want but the fabric of football is built into the cities and communities. If you can't understand that then no one can explain it to you. You don't have to accept it but the reality is that it's not the same.
English

@wayneleedsfan @gavaghan_mark Leeds and glory hunt? You're having a laugh. Supporting them 54 years while also going to my local part time team when I was younger.
English

@hotspurreports Bus welcomes must not translate from the north to the south I guess
English

@GayoCaesar @FBAwayDays and you've literally just explained it 'top flight team'. if you're looking around for a top flight team, you're automatically a glory hunter
English

Dyer was lucky to grow up somewhere with a top flight, moderately successful team though. Where I live the local team have floated between League One and even went down to the National League, so whilst we do support them and go to games it's not uncommon for people to also have Top Flight team they support
English

@ItsBigZuu So both you and your ald fella are both glory hunters. Good to know.
English

What about if you’re a refugee and you didn’t grow up with your dad? This idea that you should support ya local doesn’t work if you come from an unstable home, move around a lot, and your family can’t afford to take you to a football game. The game is bigger than this sorry Dan
