Hey guys, I have to address some news about the future of my platform moving forward. This is an emotional statement for me to write. It's been a long, long time coming, but I can finally make this announcement. I have been invited to join the Marvel Rivals Creator Program, and I'm accepting the invitation. This may come as a shock to some of you, both the invitation and my acceptance. I've thought long and hard about whether this is the right move for me. This isn't a decision I make lightly. I'm best known for one thing, after all. Turning my back on that is a seismic change. From the bottom of my heart, I wanted so badly for Marvel's Avengers to be the biggest success it could be. Losing that game broke me a little bit. Maybe I should be embarrassed to admit that, but it meant a lot to me. And I'm left thinking, "What if I'd done this?" "What if I'd said that?" "Would things have gone differently?" If only I had a second chance. And that second chance was Suicide Squad, but once again I ended up watching something I care about crash and burn, helpless to stop it. We're content creators, right? We can make or break this stuff. It's why publishers play ball with us in the first place. There's so much power here if we wield it just the right way. That may seem a little over-dramatic, but I really believe it. Then here comes Marvel Rivals. When I first set eyes on that game, I thought, "Either this time is gonna be different or I quit." And ever since then it's been one unthinkable accomplishment after another for me, shattering goal after goal. It sure hasn't been easy! I've had the shit kicked out of me by this experience. But finally I reached that door I thought I'd never get through, and it opened. I can't thank you enough for that. It's because you follow me and like these tweets and share them and make videos about them and champion me... Five years of this, if you can believe that. It still doesn't feel real. I'd be nothing without you, and it's so important to me that I make the most of that gift. I'm gonna do my absolute best to make sure these next five years are even better. With all that said, there's gonna be some big changes around here. You'll see them before long. The big one obviously being: No more leaks! God, that's hard to type. End of an era, right? And no special treatment, either. Same rules as everyone else. But I'm not abandoning news content, and I've got some great ideas for how to fill the void long-term. Not to mention streams, YouTube videos, and all kinds of other things I've got in the pipeline. You actually haven't seen a leak from me in months, and it's been plenty exciting regardless. We've got an avalanche of Marvel Rivals news on the horizon, and I am so honored to be ground zero for launch as a partnered creator. I've worked so hard for this, you have no idea.
