Jane Street made $2 BILLION in profit from just the Indian markets alone. That means other traders ; maybe funds, maybe individuals Lost $2 BILLION!! While most play the game, HFT firms control the board. Here’s how they do it. And what you need to know to protect yourself👇

@thevisheshguy FACTS!! if you try to load it all into memory at once, that's the classic NumPy trap. To get past that bottleneck, most of us shift to chunked processing with Dask or rioxarray, we use the whole ecosystem to get over this issue

@tejasv_hada This is good information, but in my experience working with geo-special data, after a few million rows of data this method might start to fall

Most developers think dealing with maps, satellite data, and massive geospatial grids requires heavy, clunky GIS software. They are completely wrong. If you know Python, you can manipulate real-world terrain, climate data, and satellite imagery like simple NumPy arrays. Rasterio 👇

What about shifting shapes on a round globe? Rasterio's reproject module handles complex coordinate system transformations flawlessly in seconds. No manual matrix math or coordinate rotation headaches required.

Two thoughts from Ginni Rometty "It will not be a world of man versus machine. It will be a world of man plus machines." "I learned to always take on things I'd never done before. Growth and comfort do not coexist."

Had my first meet with my GSoC mentors (amazing folks) now it feels so real that yeah I have ownership of such a big project which will be used by such big organizations. Kinda nervous now. hehe

If you're organizing a hackathon in 2026/27, start small: :- LLM support bot :- AI-assisted judging rubric normalization :- Automated feedback synthesis You don't need a massive budget. You need the right prompts and a weekend to set it up. HMU for help.

Unpopular opinion: the biggest bottleneck at most hackathons isn't the participants or the judges. it's the organizers drowning in spreadsheets at 2am. AI fixes this. And almost nobody is talking about it. 🧵
