@blahblaaahblaaa @ScotRail Yeah, but the 6 mile walk to its nearest stop rather than the half mile walk to the train station kinda put me off. But by all means please do continue with the replies which you think helps you come across as a smart arse, they’re incredibly helpful. 👍

Hey @scotrail , your sticker says to tweet you with carriage issues. Juts letting you know the heating is busted on carriage 65103 of your 19:39 Glasgow Q St - Waverley service. Well I assume it’s busted cos the carriage is absolutely Baltic. 🥶

@blahblaaahblaaa @ScotRail Funnily enough… 🙄 Incidentally I noticed both the toilets were out of order as well while parading up & down the train. No heaters & no working toilets - standard stuff really for a Scotrail service sadly. Shame the ticket prices don’t reflect the service levels.

@ScotRail It’s 7°C outside, pouring rain and very windy. There is a yellow weather warning covering the entire country. Is it really the case that people have to approach (seemingly invisible) staff to ask for the cold air blower to be switched off and the heater switched on? Really?

@telfer9 As the social media team we don't have comms with the train. The team on board may be in a different carriage to you right now.

@ScotRail There is no staff on the train to speak to. And the cold air is blowing from the overhead vent. How about someone tells the driver to just turn the heating on?

@TheRefsView 1. Are SFA officials subject to any system of performance measurement/KPI? Specifically, are the they measured internally with regard to correct/incorrect decisions? 2. Is Collum the right man to lead scottish officials? Transparency is welcomed, but performance is not improving.

Everyone so caught up in this & overlooking the ref at us v Livi SCREAMING that Kerr got the full ball & then admitting the var team got so caught up in whether it was a penalty they’ve essentially forgotten to check properly for DOGSO & it should’ve been a red & direct free kick

There's actually no coming back from this (and they could make a 2hr feature film of all these types of mistakes). Collum needs to go and Clancy is simply a cheat.

@Cammy26_2 @RFC_Michael_ @RangersFC My son been on the list for 4yrs and not been offered one yet. Take him to as many matches as I can get tickets for (to build points) but not reached the threshold in any year. Regardless, still need the pay the membership every year or lose chance of ST. It’s an expensive scam.

Quite the match at Molinuex. 14 saves, 4 yellow cards, 2 goalscorers and 2 assisters, yet only one goal! Not even played 20mins yet! Or maybe the @OfficialFPL app is malfunctioning?!

@MartinSLewis Sadly you have little chance of convincing the SNP govt to adopt a system similar to E&W. They’re far more likely to insist upon a completely unique & different system (cos flags) which will probably be incredibly expensive for the taxpayer and be delivered remarkably late. 😒

@davidmcgonigle @TheRefsView @shauninnes88 You’re angry cos a decision went against your team. You don’t think it’s a red card. That’s fine, that’s your opinion. But you weren’t the ref, and neither were ex-refs or pundits. Steven McLean was the ref. And *he* felt *he* made an error, which *he* corrected, not the VAR.

@davidmcgonigle @TheRefsView @shauninnes88 The referee who made the original decision, the only man who knows why he made that original decision, reviewed the incident and concluded he’d made the wrong decision. It’s therefore demonstrably a clear & obvious error made originally!

With the “interventions” of Messrs Beaton & Dallas at the weekend, let’s be done & simply adjust the wording of the Laws to “in the opinion of the VAR”!

@davidmcgonigle @TheRefsView @shauninnes88 That however is a distraction from your original grievance. Sundays ref made an initial, split-second decision. The VAR *offered* a review as a potential C&O error. The referee accepted the review, *judged himself to have erred*, and *corrected his original decision*. Thus C&O.

@davidmcgonigle @TheRefsView @shauninnes88 The VAR does not re-referee the game. He merely provides an opportunity for a referee to correct potential errors in-game, if that error satisfies the criteria in the VAR protocol. The referee always referees the game - the VAR is a tool to help him do that. Sunday proved that.

@davidmcgonigle @TheRefsView @shauninnes88 It was clear enough for the referee to recognise and correct his error. How much clearer does it need to be? Would you prefer VAR officials stay quiet when they believe an error has occurred? Ignore it and let the ref discover *AFTER* the match that he’s made an obvious error?

@telfer9 @TheRefsView @shauninnes88 See if other referees/ex-referees are arguing there wasn’t an error. It’s not “clear”! The threshold for VAR involvement is supposed to be a deliberately high bar. That’s why it has to satisfy 4 points.

@davidmcgonigle @TheRefsView @shauninnes88 So to go back to the original issue: You’re moaning cos VAR didn’t work the way YOU think it should, rather than how it’s actually supposed to work. Glad we’ve cleared that up. 👍 And to reiterate, the decision made was that of the referee. VAR did exactly as it should.

@davidmcgonigle @TheRefsView @shauninnes88 “If ANY of those points are marginal - VAR should NOT intervene” That’s only your opinion, not the LOTG. The most important opinion in a match is that of the match referee. He was alerted to a potential C&O error, he reviewed it, he awarded the correct decision. (1/2)
