@BBCAfrica Quite surprise to cooperate militarily with EU to fight terrorism in Africa, is there anyone see the logic here, how the EU can fight terrorism in your country while the people of Ghana and government in place?

@Eng_china5 I wonder who is behind this account, very questionable to promote a street as a sign for development in a war tearing and ethnically toxicated fragmented country

The world was impressed by the development of the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, but what is not widely known is that Chinese companies were behind all of this. China has been building roads and infrastructure all across Africa.

@SaharaWire I do not believe he has action plan to do so, this is simply retorik speech that give political heat. What a pity for African people to have this kind of talking papagayo leaders always serve their colonial masters.

@xghana_ Painful moment Noah arks delusional prophetic prediction. This will help to wake up many from the delusional prophets in many churches. Africa people should wake up, no more delusional belief needed in the peaceful culture of Africa.

@DAMIADENUGA Spiritual Civilization confusion at it highest peak. There are few who anointed themselves as prophet misguiding society in Africa. It reminds Kanungu massacre of March 17, 2000, in Uganda, where leaders of a doomsday cult, approx. 330 to 500 people died in the church fire.

Happening live in 𝐺𝐻𝐴𝑁𝐴🇬🇭 . Ghanians are hurrying to secure spots in one of the 8 arks built by Prophet Eboh Noah, who claims God revealed that the world will end tomorrow, December 25th, by flooding, and only those in his ark will be saved.

#Ethiopia: #Amhara region signs ‘peace agreement’ with Capitaine Masresha Setie A “peace agreement” has been signed between the Amhara Regional Government and the Amhara Fano People’s Organization, in a deal regional officials say forms part of “the region’s broader push to end armed confrontation” and create conditions for “continued peaceful relief for the public.” According to state media the agreement was signed in the “presence of mediators from the African Union (#AU) and the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (#IGAD).” The pact was signed between #Arega_Kebede, President the Amhara Regional State, and Captain #Masresha_Setie, representing the Amhara Fano People’s Organization. According to ruling party affiliate media, negotiations had been ongoing for “several months with the facilitation of the AU and IGAD. The regional government said the outcome reflects its stated option for peaceful resolution. During the signing ceremony, President Arega said the day marked “the first major peace event” for the people of the Amhara region. Captain Masresha Sete, who signed on behalf of the group, is quoted by state media as saying that “the end of any conflict is discussion and negotiation,” adding that resolving disagreements through dialogue “is not a political defeat but wisdom.” A year ago, in December 2024, a similar agreement was signed between former Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) commander Sagni Nagasa. Similarly, in June 2024, the Benishangul-Gumuz regional government declared the “successful conclusion” of peace agreements with the remaining elements of the Gumuz People’s Democratic Movement (GPDM) and the Benishangul People’s Liberation Movement (BPLM). addisstandard.com/?p=53949

🇪🇹Eritrea has no legal right to block Ethiopia from using the Red sea! International law guarantees landlocked nations access to the sea. Assab is Ethiopia’s historic and natural gateway, and no country can deny that right permanently. Ethiopia seeks cooperation, not confrontation

The PP Foreign Minister of #Ethiopia Ghidewon Timethewos (PhD) is saying: 1) Ethiopia’s modern state was built through conflict and violence — not by colonial powers, but by native Ethiopian forces. 2) There is no social contract in Ethiopia's state formation. The wounds, contradictions, and legitimacy crisis born at state formation remain unresolved. Ethiopia’s identity, vision, and institutions are still contested and never cemented by national consensus. 3) Ethiopia has a deeply violent and autocratic political culture. Power struggles are settled through force, not dialogue, and leaders consolidate authority through autocratic means — leaving generations of grievances unaddressed. Who am I to disagree...

@AshFarms Named after Venus, the Roman goddess of beauty, sometimes believed to be a mark of beauty, features may be seen on both female & male backs, but seem to be more common & prominent in women. When seen in men, called "dimples of Apollo", named after Greco-Roman god of male beauty
