It is a matter of public record that I personally initiated the legal proceedings on behalf of ODM to determine the funds owed to the party by the Government. The Ksh 12 billion figure exists today only because of the ruling in the case I filed. It is ironical to see the 'Linda Tumbo' group now demanding these funds from the President without acknowledging the legal groundwork I laid, choosing instead to target me with personal attacks.

@ephraimnjegafan Mt. Kenya leaders upon realizing that Ruto to be uprooted from the Central people's hearts is not easy, they have started to emotionalize their politics by pulling an Uhuru card. This will only sell for a few days then the noise will fade and that's it. Beating Ruto needs brains

Moi supported and campaigned for Kibaki's reelection in 2007. Nobody had an issue with that. If Uhuru was supporting Ruto's reelection, nobody would be crying foul. 🧵

I got a small tattoo on my breast, which I did myself. My husband only noticed it later that night, around 10:30pm, when we were about to sleep. He became very angry and sent me out of the house over that small tattoo. Even when our neighbours and landlord tried to beg him, he refused to listen. He pushed me out and forced me to leave the house close to 11pm. I had nowhere to go, so I ended up spending the night at a church vigil on our street. I later contacted the tattoo artist about removing it, but he said it’s risky to do so now because it’s still fresh. He advised me to wait for about two months before removal. When I explained this to my husband, he told me to go and stay at my parents’ house for those two months. My parents have tried calling him to settle things, but he has refused to pick their calls. Right now, I honestly don’t know what to do anymore.

@C_NyaKundiH Talking from both sides of the mouth bwana is not good. You're saying Ruto must go, then you lay blame on the 'system' while acknowledging semplance structure that never changes. Lead the way by going after the system rather than the president then we align.

The biggest threat to Ruto’s second term is a united opposition. There is propaganda that Ruto will simply rig his way back, but rigging is not as easy as people make it sound. Rigging requires serious intelligence, serious coordination, serious logistics and a disciplined political machine, and Kenya Kwanza may be loud, arrogant and aggressive, but that does not mean they have the capacity to quietly manage every moving part of an election without exposing themselves to a bigger crisis. The bigger danger for Ruto is the possibility of a last minute national mood swing where Kenyans wake up close to the election and decide in large numbers that Ruto must go. That is the counterattack I am talking about. Not chaos, not violence and not online excitement, but millions of ordinary Kenyans making a quiet decision in their homes, villages, towns, churches, markets, workplaces and polling stations that enough is enough. When people are divided, confused or hopeless, power can manipulate them, but when many Kenyans arrive at the same conclusion at the same time, the system starts shaking. Personally, my worry is bigger than Ruto. It is bigger than Kalonzo and bigger than whoever else imagines they can inherit power. Whether the next president is Ruto, Kalonzo, Kuku or anyone else, things will still be bad if the poisoned system remains untouched. The country is not well. People are broke, businesses are closing, families that were stable two or three years ago are now struggling, rent is choking people, food is expensive, school fees is a nightmare, jobs are scarce and hope itself has become expensive. This is where the opposition is also failing because they are talking politics but they are not seriously addressing the issues affecting Kenyans. Kenyans do not just need a replacement for Ruto. They need a serious plan for the economy, taxation, public debt, corruption, police brutality, unemployment, healthcare, education and the cost of living. Without that, removing one group and replacing it with another will only change the names of the people eating while the country continues bleeding. As I have always said, only Kenyans themselves will take back this country, rectify it and set serious systems. Not politicians, not tribal kingpins and not fake reformers who become silent immediately they get appointments. Keen people know that time must come, and it may come slowly then suddenly. No matter who is at the top, Kenyans will eventually realise that the system itself is poisoned, and once that realisation becomes national, it will be very bad for anyone who takes over. Kenyans will not just be asking for a new president. They will be demanding a country that finally works.

Can we get an explanation as to why salaried Kenyans are compelled to contribute to the Housing Levy to construct houses on public land ; land held in trust for all citizens, only to be required to purchase these same houses from intermediaries who profit from public contributions, despite adding no value? What legal or policy justification exists for taxing citizens to build, then selling the same to them at a profit?

I’m deeply concerned about the curtailment of navigational rights & freedoms in the area of the Strait of Hormuz disrupting energy, transport, manufacturing & food markets & strangling the global economy. All of humanity is paying the price. Consider these three scenarios: 1: Restrictions are lifted today Supply chains will take months to recover, prolonging lower economic output and higher prices Global economic growth will drop from 3.4%to 3.1%. Global inflation – which had been declining – will climb from 3.8% to 4.4%. 2: Disruption drags on through midyear Growth falls to 2.5%. Inflation hits 5.4%. 32 million people are pushed into poverty. Fertilizers run low, and crops yields fall short. 45 million more people will face extreme hunger. 3: Severe disruptions persist through the end of the year Inflation skyrockets past 6%. Growth plummets to 2%. Immense suffering takes hold, especially among the world’s most vulnerable populations. We confront the spectre of a global recession – with dramatic impacts on people, on the economy, and on political and social stability.

ARE you Permanent and Pensionable? If you are unlawfully dismissed before your retirement age, should you be paid anticipatory salary and allowances for the years you would have served. On the eve of Jamhuri Day last year (11th December 2025) the Supreme Court delivered a landmark judgement that you should read. It was the climax of a labour case that had been in the corridors of the judiciary since 1992. The case was filed by three former employees of Telkom Kenya (formerly Kenya Posts and Telecommunications Corporation) Francis Waithaka Ngokonyo, Sudi Abdalla and Andrew Muga who were retrenched in 1991. Francis was employed as a pupil engineer on June 10, 1973 rising to become Assistant General Manager (Data Processing). Sudi was employed on October 5, 1971 as an Assistant Telecommunications Controller, Grade II and rose to become Area Manager–Nairobi South. Andrew was employed on April 17, 1961 as a Clerical Officer Grade II and rose to become Senior Assistant Manager (Telephone Accounts) On July 19, 1991, they were placed on compulsory leave on grounds of persistent laxity, the particulars of which were not disclosed. Their efforts to seek audience with the the management failed. On October 22, 1991, they were formally retired in public interest. Francis was 41, Sudi 43 and Andrew 50. They were paid gratuity and cumulative pension payments. They filed three separate cases against Telkom Kenya challenging the retrenchment and the cases were then consolidated. They argued that retirement before age of fifty-five (55), amounted to wrongful termination. They therefore sought general and special damages, as well as pension and other benefits. On April 11, 2001 High Court judge Hayanga, awarded Francis Ksh15.7million, Sudi Ksh10.5million and Andrew Ksh2.7million. Unfortunately, the judgement was read by a Deputy Registrar on behalf of the judge, which is contrary to the rules. On July 2, 2004, the Court of Appeal nullified the judgement on that technicality and sent the case back to the High Court for fresh hearing. It went before judge Havelock. On December 20, 2013 Havelock, J) awarded Francis Ksh14,965,568, Sudi Ksh12,783,404, and Andrew Ksh1,874,676.30. Telkom filed an appeal at the Court of Appeal in 2017. The three employees also filed a cross-appeal over the reduction of the initial awards. The main grounds of appeal were that the High Court judge had erred by awarding the three former employees the loss of anticipated salaries and allowances until their projected retirement age. That the judge had failed to appreciate that anticipatory salaries and allowances are too speculative and it is not a fair and reasonable remedy. That the judge failed to appreciate that the retrenched employees were expected to mitigate their losses by securing alternative employment and that an award of anticipatory salaries and allowance amounts to an unjust enrichment. That the judge had failed to consider that employment remedies are not aimed at facilitating the unjust enrichment of aggrieved employees but rather are meant to redress economic injuries in a proportionate way. That he had failed to appreciate that allowances are enjoyed by those in actual employment and not by those who have ceased to be employees. On July 26, 2024, three Court of Appeal judges (Nyamweya, Mativo & Gachoka) held on among other issues that anticipatory salaries and allowances were speculative and amounted to unjust enrichment, as there was no guarantee of service until retirement. The three employees appealed to the Supreme Court in February 2025. They raised a substantial issue regarding anticipatory salaries and allowances in circumstances where employees in the public sector are asked to retire early from employment in the public interest, or for the common good of the government. The issue was canvassed in great length. On December 11, 2025 the Supreme Court delivered the judgement that sealed the debate. 1/2

Good afternoon patriots. Here is your late lunchtime dose of anger. Ruto has discovered that Japan built 1 million km of roads in 60 years. Kenya has built 20,000 km. He sees a problem. We also see a problem. But different problems. His problem is the number of kilometers. Our problem is who stole the budget for the other roads that he has been promising and not delivering. He now wants to build 28,000 km in seven years. Who told him we want him beyond this term? The same man who promised the Nithi Bridge in 2022. The same man who broke ground in Busia and the excavators left before he reached Nairobi. Now wants to build 28,000 km of roads. In seven years. With what budget? From which fund? Now here is what nobody is saying out loud: In Japan a leader who oversaw this level of infrastructural failure would resign. In Japan a contractor who stole road funds would face prison. In Japan an official who approved a failed project would be publicly shamed and in turn commit suicide for being a national embarrassment. In Japan incompetence has consequences. In Kenya incompetence has a microphone. And seven more years of promises. Japan built roads. Kenya builds announcements. The difference is accountability. Enjoy your lunch Kenya on a road with potholes while angry to the core. Dismas wa Tabu. Dreaming in installments. Billed in full.

@alreyami1ae @FabrizioRomano I think Arteta should drop the current model that dictates wingers to be crossing balls into the box rather than dribbling in direct. This model has squeezed out like of Saka who enjoys playing direct box to box. Viktor should work on his positioning.

@FabrizioRomano Mikel Arteta, Viktor Gyökeres a wonderful striker you don’t need to find another one. What you really need is affective 2 winger who runs, dribbles and cross in less than mnt and continues doing this whole game. Saka and Martinelli both are average players.
