why is there actually, legitimately, discourse around reading speed right now “8 hours to read a book is slow” “you should be able to read a book in 3-5 hours” bro we are in a literacy CRISIS, i do not care how fast or slow you read a book, just pick one up and read it

To stop ants coming in to your house leave a saucer of milk outside. The adult ants drink it & it has an effect on ant reproduction. The young are born without toes so they can't climb in to your cavity walls. This effect is called lack toes in toddler ants.

"From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, 'Look at that, you son of a bitch.'" ― Edgar Mitchell, Apollo 14 astronaut.

We see our home planet as a whole, lit up in spectacular blues and browns. A green aurora even lights up the atmosphere. That's us, together, watching as our astronauts make their journey to the Moon.

Stone Age? At a time when you were still in caves searching for fire, we were inscribing human rights on the Cyrus Cylinder. We endured the storm of Alexander and the Mongol invasions and remained; because Iran is not just a country, it is a civilization.

Wese its weird like everyone hates Pakistani courts, questions their decisions and criticises their judgments. But as soon as a verdict came in favour of Ali Zafar instead of Meesha Shafis everyone suddenly started believing in the courts judgment. Like be for real

Everyone say thank you kim manners for being 90% of the reason early supernatural had its creepy, southern gothic, americana, iconic atmosphere. you immediately feel how his absence affected the show for the worse
supernatural aesthetic@spn_aesthetic

Fun fact: dead in the water is the first episode to be directed by Kim Manners. He would go on to become an executive producer, contributing heavily to the look of the show and the culture on set. Originally only meant to direct 1x03, he "fell in love" with Sam and Dean during filming of the episode. He emerged from semi-retirement to come on board.
