Yesterday, our handsome, big boy left us. We are heartbroken. Never was a wolfhound so loved. He will be missed by us and his sister, Belle. He lived a good life with the sun on his face and the sound of the ocean always in his ears. Rest in peace dear, gentle Tully.
@stephenkeeler I'm feeling the same today Stephen. I was saying yesterday to my young friends in the gym that I love writing letters but no-one ever writes back. Today, it's too wet to go for my run so I'm watching the raindrops in the birdbath and thinking of happy times past.
@Yoda4ever Great one David. I’ll I isn’t quite th as tabs. Which reminds me we saw a man with a cat under his coat in and asked if he couldgasytake him into gym with him
Just had news that a friend died yesterday. A dear friend I met very late in life. A person who was everything you’d look for in a human being. Brave through a very long illness. So sorry.
Later, I will post a poem I wrote for her a few years ago.
@ m& S why is my husband having to stand in a queue waiting for a Christmas order with a time slot of 3-3.30. He estimates he will be another half hour. This is Redhill.
☀️Enjoy the sunny weather... remember ‘it’s quicker by rail’.
A selection of vintage LNER posters advertising some of our magnificent beaches, all of which can still reached by rail via the @My_Metro system.
Early this morning, I cleaned up the Wolfhound poop in the yard in my pajamas and slippers. Where's all this bad weather that was forecast? (Says Belle and Tully)
@JimCaseNL I am not letting them read it until they are 21 so in Anna’s case that will be in 3 years time. I am also working on something I call “100 thing s you didn’t know about your Granny” but not sure if it will ever be the right time to let them read that!
I have two new granddaughters. I spent the entire day writing a letter to each of them. Sealed & placed in security. Not to be opened until their 16th birthday. A time capsule - sort of. My hopes & aspirations for them laid bare. And to tell them they have always been loved.
