@ahmadalfy Mermaid diagram sucks 😒 The only reason to use them is that GitHub supports them out of the box. I'd rather use D2 [1] [1] d2lang.com

Recently discovered D2 by @terrastruct and really like it. Turns out generating a D2 diagram automatically from a Robot state machine isn’t too hard.

Do you generate any diagrams on the fly for your docs or code? I knew about Mermaid diagrams, but D2 was new to me. It looks like a clean syntax (and impressive toolchain) for going from text to diagrams ... d2lang.com

@terrastruct Yea that one. The other layout engine also appears to be implemented in JavaScript

I don't know why this is not famous but it looks so good I'll embed support for it in the first release of 🌱Sprouts d2lang.com

@Hasen_Judi what's that file? we don't embed anything from the mermaid.js project - maybe you're referring to the open-source layout engines? github.com/dagrejs/dagre

although it looks like .. it .. embeds a javascript file and runs it 😅 and .. it's a file from the mermaid.js project I mean, at this point, why not just use mermaid directly?

In the latest Logtalk git version, the "diagrams" tool have been updated with support for the d2 graph language: d2lang.com

d2lang.com is quite a nice diagramming tool. We use it for internal/external docs & content creation.

First try of integrating #D2 @terrastruct #texttodiagram into #VitePress while enhancing limited theme support and dynamic light/dark switch using inline #SVG. Highlight is the handdrawn sketch style. I need to create the missing markdown-it plug☹️-> d2lang.com
