Term limits are needed for politics in Ireland. Nobody should be allowed to sit in the Dáil for decades and get away with destroying the country. Their wages and their claims for expenses needs to be capped too.

Leo Varadkar is the epitome of all that is wrong with Irish politics. He rose to the top of Fine Gael by ingratiating himself with the Fine Gael grassroots in rural Ireland that he now disparages. He is embodying the arrogance and lack of care that this FF/FG government showed towards farmers, hauliers and small contractors during the fuel protests. He now decries the tax incentives given to farmers which he once championed as a benefit of EU membership. In reality the EU regulations are crippling rural Ireland and FF/FG are letting it happen. Varadkar is a shameless hypocrite, who has displayed exactly what his former colleagues think of you. #HowIrelandWorks
