I am an independent disability advocate for the United States and the former disability advocate for the State of Minnesota. I was one of the individuals who publicly raised concerns about alleged fraud under Governor Tim Walz’s administration. Since then, the situation has escalated, and I have now become a victim of fraud myself. I respectfully urge you to support having the appropriate federal fraud task force and oversight authorities investigate these matters and, if appropriate, bring their findings before Congress. I also respectfully ask for the opportunity to testify before the appropriate congressional committee or investigative body regarding my experiences and the concerns I have witnessed. Information and documentation about Living Hope has already been submitted to your office regarding concerns involving Living Hope. These allegations deserve a thorough and independent investigation. Additionally, I was terminated from an ICS home shortly after speaking publicly at a hearing concerning Governor Tim Walz’s impeachment, where there were ongoing concerns involving alleged fraud and the mistreatment of clients. This sequence of events should be reviewed as part of any broader investigation into these matters. Clients have been subjected to abuse in that setting. I have also spoken with many families across the State of Minnesota who are struggling to access essential services. For example, I spoke with a mother who has been unable to find mental health services for her son and was told there are no available resources in her area. Living Hope has kept me on for almost a month, but I am afraid they will evict me because I know so much. If I am evicted, I will become homeless, and that has been happening to a lot of people who have lost their services through the Somali fraud. Many individuals with disabilities and mental health needs are experiencing similar hardships, and there appears to be a severe shortage of available support services. There are growing concerns among families about whether current funding and resources are being effectively directed to those in need, including people with disabilities and those requiring mental health care. Many believe the system is not meeting the demand, leaving vulnerable individuals without adequate support. Because of these conditions, I respectfully request urgent attention to these issues. Living Hope should be thoroughly reviewed and, if warranted based on the findings of a full and fair investigation, shut down. Mr. Vice President, I respectfully ask for your assistance in ensuring these concerns receive a fair and thorough federal investigation. If Congress or a federal fraud task force conducts hearings on these matters, I would be honored to testify and provide my firsthand experiences and any information that may assist investigators. My goal is simple: to help protect taxpayers, ensure accountability, and improve services for people with disabilities who depend on them. The Ukrainians are attacking Russia's oil infrastructure to great effect.  And it is making a huge difference in the trajectory of the war there.  We appear to be avoiding Iran's oil infrastructure.  I believe we need to rethink this if we seek an actual victory.  We are not going to achieve an actual victory at the negotiation table, certainly not a lasting victory.
