Holdsworth is a better guitarist in terms of technicality. He’s not iconic in the same way, but as a jazz fusion player he plays circles around every legendary guitarist you can imagine- most of the jazz fusion guys do. I know someone will have the knee jerk reaction of, “b-but fame and money.” Guitarists like Holdsworth do it for the love of music itself and continually push boundaries on technicality. It’s okay to not like his music, but these fusion players outplay most everyone in terms of pure skill and that is an objective fact. Source: I’m a guitar teacher.

I paid a plumbing company $4,400 to replace a sewer line under my garage, and now my garage floor looks like it lost a fight with a sidewalk 😭 They cut a huge section out of the concrete, repaired the pipe, and patched it back in with concrete that doesn’t even remotely match the original floor. So I asked the foreman when they planned to stain or finish it so it would blend in better… And this man literally laughed and said: “It’s a garage floor, buddy, not the Taj Mahal. Be glad it’s not dirt.” 💀 BE GLAD IT’S NOT DIRT?? I’m sorry, but if I’m paying thousands of dollars for a “professional” repair, I feel like the end result shouldn’t look like a random parking lot patch job. Now I’m sitting here wondering if this just tanked the appearance — and possibly the resale value — of my garage. Would you push back and demand they resurface the area properly, or am I overreacting?

This video is going around of a high school wrestling match that happened yesterday. One player showed clear poor sportsmanship… followed immediately by a pretty blatant cheap shot in response. Did the bad behavior ‘earn’ it? Or is a cheap shot never justified no matter what? Team Blue, Team Orange, or are both punks? Sports need passion but where’s the line? Thoughts? 👀

My personal favorite drummer, El Etepario Siberiano playing Rush, Tom Sawyer. Neil Peart is arguably the best drummer to walk this planet, and I am a huge fan myself. My man here does this justice to say the least. He would have been a fantastic new member of Rush. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
