One of my major feature requests is they make is SIGNIFICANTLY more obvious when your brake lights are on in the visualizer. I want to know anytime my brake lights are on because it influences drivers behind me to slow down - say we’re coming up so a major slowdown on the highway. I want to know that my 15-20mph speed reduction was visible to those behind me (or not).

Almost every hotel we have in Indy is filled with foreign workers, with a huge majority likely being illegal aliens. The Signia (not Insignia) hotel will probably be the exact same. It’s frustrating because those are jobs American workers could fill for decent wages. Instead, American’s are sold out to cheap foreign (and illegal) labor. The hotel leadership (directors and GM’s) know what they’re doing. Everyone knows what they’re doing. But nothing has ever been done about it.

@SpainGreatAgain @XFreeze Good points. It simplifies the barrier to entry but for complex tasks it does shift the problem areas. I guess it depends on the scope of the website. It’s possible to one-shot simple designs but unlikely when doing handling data, etc.

Yess speeds things up, no question but it can also create a bit of a false sense of progress. If the foundation isn’t solid, you often end up paying for it later during those small iterations anyway. And yeah, being able to read code helps a lot, but it’s not some magic multiplier. It just shifts the bottleneck instead of writing everything from scratch, you’re now debugging, understanding architecture decisions you didn’t make, and fixing assumptions baked into the generated code.

@SpainGreatAgain @XFreeze But alleviating 90% of the early build phase and moving straight into iteration is a significant time saver. Knowing how to read code streamlines iterations for small changes as well.

@XFreeze The whole you don’t need prompts thing is another nice marketing line. You always end up correcting, iterating, and fighting with details just like with any other AI.

Sure, people can do complex math (or perform complex surgeries) , but a computer system (robot) can do it significantly faster and with significantly fewer errors.

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

x.com/Indy_reporter_… Sid Mahant chats with another immigrant, in a foreign language, to basically say: “If you’re unhappy… vote for me.” THEN, Sid leans straight into identity politics, pitching himself as “one of you” to rally immigrant voters in Hendricks County. I have the original video and the AI translated video posted. It’d be a lot easier if Sid just spoke in English but instead he’s tailoring his message to immigrant voters in their own language, while English speakers seem to get pushed to the back.

@teslavangelist We paid about $950 for the installation. The charger run is about 10’ from the breaker box. We noticed the installer quoted us 60amp breakers but installed 40amp instead, so we had to make them come fix that for us.

has anyone had an electrician install a 240v charger for less than $500? mine cost maybe $1500 I think to install, although for mine I needed like 30' of copper cabling which was like $500 or so itself.

Many people are scared to get a Tesla because they think they need to spend $5000 or more to install a charger at home. No you don't. I charge my Tesla using a regular 240v outlet in my garage. Same outlet as a dryer. Your local electrician can install one for under $500. Your new Tesla already comes with a mobile connector that plugs right into it. If you want a Tesla Wall Connector, that's $450 and about $500 to install. Get home, plug it in, and by the time you finish making dinner it's fully charged. Charging at home can cost you under $3 a day. No more spending $60 a week on gas. The savings of driving an EV are HUGE and it starts on day one. What's stopping you from making the switch?

@teslaeurope I bought my 2019 Model 3 pre-owned. Overall it was an easy and great experience. One big thing to consider is the interest rates were and are still miserable. So, although the car will be significantly cheaper, the loan rate will hike up an otherwise affordable price.

Every single one of these HUGE houses is nothing but turban wearing [probably illegal] foreigners. All of them shot me unaccepting looks as I drove through the neighborhood just to see what this many trucking companies looks like in a residential complex. Spoiler: it’s all brand new cars & SUV’s and not a single vehicle that would be used to carry any amount of freight.

All Commercial Driver’s Licenses for undocumented immigrants in the state of Indiana will expire at midnight on Wednesday for those unable to provide proper visas. Moving forward, all future non-citizen CDL applications will need one of three approved work visas while also requiring the driver to demonstrate proficiency in English. In addition, any employers who knowingly hire illegal drivers without a valid CDL will face a $50,000 fine. This is a great first step in making our streets safer for Hoosiers. Now it’s our duty to enforce these new laws and prevent any more senseless deaths.
