Guys, the whole “war started so bear market is here, war ended so bull market starts” idea is mostly nonsense. In January 2020, a U.S. strike in Baghdad triggered a major Iran–U.S. escalation. Iran retaliated and struck U.S. bases. Peak geopolitical tension. So what happened to BTC and ETH around that time? BTC went from $7K to $10K. ETH went from $128 to $280. In January. Did 2020 turn into a bear market because of war headlines? No. From Jan 2020 to Nov 2021 we had plenty of conflict narratives. Sometimes markets cared, sometimes they didn’t. I’m not saying “war is bullish.” I’m saying the simplified mindset is wrong: “war = bear, peace = bull.” Markets move. The world moves. When those timelines overlap, we force clean explanations. If BTC drops to $50K today, people will say “because of geopolitics.” But if tomorrow there’s a major catalyst, nobody will care about that narrative anymore. Look back. Feb 2017 to Sep 2017, North Korea ran multiple missile tests. BTC did 5x. ETH did 40x. Even the S&P didn’t enter a bear. It moved from ~2200 to ~2500 during that period. Bottom line: The world has had wars for thousands of years. If you tie every bull and bear cycle to that, you’ll drive yourself insane. There’s no “war started we’re doomed” and “war ended we’re flying.”
