If Albo's dinner with Felix Lee doesn't have MONEY LAUNDERING of the highest order written all over it I don't know what does!
Felix's billionaire father has already been accused by the ATO of money laundering through Australia banks. Also at Albo's meeting was CEO of commbank and former chairman of ASIC (the very government body that is supposed to regulate financial institutions and enforce the law!)

It looks like Albanese and Labor (in a deal brokered by the disgraced Dan Andrews) have pocketed a million dollars of laundered money from a dodgy Chinese billionaire who expects, in return, a special favour: that the ATO wipe all or part of a $200 million tax debt.
And the ABC are censoring this story.

The 2021 document also contains suspicions that 60-year-old Phillip Dong Fang Lee secretly controlled business and financial interests in China despite earlier vowing to the Australian government that he had sold his Chinese business assets. It was reported that Phillip’s son Felix pledged Albanese a $1 million donation at the exclusive dinner at the family’s Point Piper mansion, Mandalay. Also at the dinner was Commonwealth Bank chief executive Matt Comyn, while the Financial Review reported the bank’s former boss David Murray, ex-ASIC chairman James Shipton and former Victorian premier Dan Andrews also attended. Albanese has refused to confirm how much was donated, saying any contribution to the Labor Party would be appropriately disclosed. The ATO alleges that large sums of money moved from China into Australia via “sham” loans from his mother, friends, and associates. These were said to be devices designed to conceal the true source of the funds as undisclosed foreign income. Examples include:
• Roughly $120 million claimed as loans from friends/associates into Phillip’s Chinese accounts.
• $115 million transferred into his wife’s accounts, claimed as a loan from his mother.
• Loans with no written agreements, no interest, and in some cases never repaid.
• One loan document allegedly witnessed on a non-existent date (30 February).
• The ATO also raised concerns about $110 million processed through Star City casino accounts linked to Phillip.
• Funds were traced through accounts of Phillip’s young children (including a then 15 year old Felix and a then 10 year old Edward) to purchase Australian properties, including a Bellevue Hill investment property and the Point Piper mansion itself. with 13 year old bought a $7m house in Bellevue Hill

‘Former PM Paul Keating's company, Brenlex Pty Ltd, owed the ATO $446,000 in unpaid tax plus nearly $950,000 in accrued general interest charges and late penalties.
The underlying tax was paid.
The ATO waived $950,000 in interest and penalties in 2015.’
