We've released new research on quantifying the impact of compute units (CU) on Solana validator rewards. Key insights: 1. Raising the per-block CU ceiling from 50M to 100M could add 0.0575 SOL in rewards per block for validators that consistently fill the additional block space.

NEW: We’ve integrated Timely Vote Credits (TVC) in our @solana validator effectiveness metric. While we’ve always tracked the latency of validator votes ever since, we have not integrated this in their vote performance until the protocol level change has become official.

We are open sourcing the Ethereum solo stakers mappings we’ve been curating internally. Especially recently, we’ve seen a wave of interest in incentivizing solo stakers—some of the most competent and mission driven operators in the industry, to participate in new networks and extensions of core Ethereum staking. But the problem is that these folks are not easy to identify onchain. The list we have curated solves for this. Based on state of the art ML work and a lot of hardening over the past 7mos by putting it through the ringer with different partners, we are very confident in the degree of signal it carries—especially in filtering out whitelabeled solos. We think this can be a powerful tool in adding sybil resistance to curated sets, as well as in airdrops that might want to target solo stakers. Today we are releasing the first version of the list, which covers indices 1 to 500,000. Over time we will be releasing refreshes bringing it closer to the present. Previous fake token address poisoning attack on Etherscan:

PSA: Address poisoners are using Cyrillic characters in the symbol() response to evade @etherscan's detection infrastructure. The address poisoning detection on @FortaNetwork is now alerting on and labelling the addresses involved in these attacks.

The researchers at @FortaNetwork identified this as a priority for detection, and you can now monitor these attacks via their API, or view them in the Forta Explorer: explorer.forta.network/alert/0xce6b1d…

To follow these address poisoning campaigns in real-time after the excellent investigation by @h3idilao and @iphelix, check out the agent I launched on @FortaNetwork, working with their Threat Research Initiative. It's now live on Ethereum, BSC, and Polygon with over 10k alerts.
