Orange Travels MD Sunil Kumar Arrested in ₹28-Crore GST Evasion Case Sunil Kumar, Managing Director of Orange Travels and a Congress leader, has been arrested for allegedly collecting ₹28 crore as GST from passengers through bus ticket bookings - but failing to deposit the amount with the government. GST officials produced him before the Nampally Court following his arrest. During statewide inspections into GST fraud, DGGI officials reportedly identified tax evasion linked to Sunil Kumar, who had earlier contested from the Balkonda constituency on behalf of the Congress Party. Based on these findings, officials proceeded with the arrest.
