Media contact for the K-State men's basketball program. Love all sorts of sports, mostly college. My opinions are not necessarily those of K-State Athletics.

I have been working on a list of classic #KStateMBB games since the start of Big 12 play in 1996-97. I started to think which of these are your favorite? Am I missing your favorite?

Troy Andre (@troyandrecubuff), who is in his 23rd year with the University of Colorado (@CUBuffs) athletic department, will receive his University Division CSC Achievement Award this June at #CSCUnite26 in Las Vegas! “I am humbled and honored to receive this Achievement Award from CSC. Over 25-plus years, I've been blessed to learn and grow professionally from a Hall of Fame list of mentors, George Ellis and Jeff Schwartz at North Dakota State, Bob Nygaard at Minnesota-Duluth and David Plati here at Colorado. And currently, attempting to navigate the ever-changing landscape of college athletics with my long-time colleague and friend, CU Associate AD Curtis Snyder. We are in a behind-the-scenes, grind-it-out, with little notoriety profession, so it is in moments like this, being recognized is truly special. Congratulations to all 2026 CSC Special Award winners.” Read the full feature: collegesportscommunicators.com/news/2026/3/12… @Big12Conference @NCAA

This is a very large Golden Doodle. “Because I’m also dad’s baby,” he says even with a new toddler sister in the house. Dad still cradles him like a precious infant right there in the kitchen. Peak family love.

Braden Smith almost didn't go to Purdue. When Smith was in HS, Purdue had a scholarship open up late. Matt Painter was pointed toward Smith and the rest is history. Who was recruiting Smith the hardest to that point and thought he had him? Belmont coach Casey Alexander.

Exactly. We’ve built a culture where people wake up looking for something to be outraged about just to turn it into a headline or hot take. Then we get 15 podcasts breaking down a joke like it’s a federal case, acting like they’ve never made a mistake or heard sarcasm. It’s a cycle: outrage > content > more outrage. And then we wonder why athletes and coaches don’t want to do interviews. Maybe because the internet has a problem with everything everyone says and then wants to yell at them and call for their head?
Seth Davis@SethDavisHoops

He was joking, it was obvious he was joking, and it was hilarious. When did everyone lose their sense of humor?
