Day by day, feels like Beijing is the new headquarters for UN. I came to Tsinghua University today for the 14th World Peace Forum. Also at the forum are diplomats, scholars, opinion leaders from every continent, finding solutions to solve a pressing issue facing us: How to Rebuild Peace in Middle East (West Asia). Renowned 🇨🇳Chinese professor Yan Xuetong (whose video of confronting an Israeli military officer went viral) is the moderator for this session. 🇵🇰Pakistan’s former Minster of Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar was there raising powerful points and Pakistan’s role in helping mediating. So many thought provoking discussions and honest answers. Will share some of the clips soon.

They attempted to shut down this lady who was explaining the difficulties we face in competing with Somali spazashops. They completely disregard the same government regulations put in place to protect the public, allowing them to sell their goods at a lower price.
