Come weekend Cubarsi will line up for Barca in La Liga after such a big error in huge CL game. But pompous Madrid fans will call for Pitarch to be benched after a moderate performance against Bayern with less than 10 games in the first team

Lookman doesn't know it yet but the people of Madrid already hate him. They're just figuring out how to cut him down and then pull him down

Arbeloa may not have them playing as I imagine he would like but he's got them bought on tracking back. Look at Cama and Vini here

John Terry: “When we were going to play against Barcelona, my son asked me for a signed Messi shirt, and I promised I’d get it for him. From the start of the match, I wasn’t thinking about winning or losing or anything else, just about Messi’s shirt. I told my teammates not to ask for it. When the game ended, I went over to him and asked for the shirt, and he didn’t hesitate to give it to me; he even asked for mine in return. What humility! But as I entered the tunnel, I remembered that my son had asked me for his autograph. I felt really disappointed and went to Barcelona’s locker room, but they told me it was off-limits. I waited, and suddenly Messi appeared, walked toward me smiling, and said, ‘Do you want my boots too?’ [Laughs] I smiled and told him, ‘I won’t be able to go home tonight if you don’t sign this shirt for my son, I promised him.’ The funny thing is, I didn’t bring a pen. I went to find one, and when I came back, I found Leo still there waiting for me, even though his teammates had already left for the bus. He signed it, and I told him, ‘Thank you, and sorry for keeping you late.’ With respect, he said, ‘It’s okay. I don’t want your son to be disappointed, and also for you, because otherwise, you’d be sleeping outside tonight.’ [Laughs] I’ve played my entire career and have never seen a player as humble as Messi. The best in history, with extra humility. These are the kinds of things you only see in a player named Messi.”

@Danysleek Messi was acknowledged to be the best by many but had a relatively poor record with Argentina. For the record he's the sort to win MOTM without G/A. If your metric for a good player is goals then worship strikers and find peace

“Vini is the best player on the planet when he actually wants to play football” is one of the dumbest things on FT this yr. So he doesn’t want to play for Brazil with his 8 goals in 8 yrs. Best player with 2 goals in 23 games. Again, you’re either intelligent or a Vini cultist
@nueverole

Vinicius is the best player on the planet when he actually wants to play football. Arbeloa understands this perfectly and is trying to make him feel like it's HIS team. Never doubt the power of inclusivity and responsibility. He knows he has to say these things, even if it makes him look less like a "personality". Sometimes you have to say what's best for the group, not what you feel like saying.

@RodgerCambell @RMxAce I didn't say that. I was merely responding to try to make a point that the team didn't have too many good games to credit anyone with good plays

@thapimolefe @RMxAce “Everything good begins with mbappe.” Everyone’s role is equally important to winning and people believe they are nothing without mbappe and I don’t agree.

All of our best games have come with Kylian Mbappe but somehow there's this narrative that he limits us. The reality shows us differently.

@thapimolefe @RMxAce I mean I don’t entirely agree with that statement but evidence shows that his goal scoring ability is needed this season + it takes pressure off vini.

@RodgerCambell @RMxAce Don't just hop on to conversations. Try following the thread first. The issue was everything good begins with Mbappe and I'm saying we haven't had many good moments for that statement to be relevant

@thapimolefe @RMxAce And that was solely Mbappes fault? He scored in the atleti game and never lost to city

@RMxAce As I said, can only count 5/6 good games since last season including the Monaco game. My point is you're making it seem like things were great when they were not. Beating the likes of Oviedo and Kairat handsomely shouldn't mislead about the state of things

@EternalMad24998 @MadridXtra Rodrygo threw tantrums. Went past it like nothing. Vini throws tantrum and it's the end of "a good thing"? How good was it then if a player's tantrum can spoil it? Truth is the team as a whole was not playing well. They just got by against weak teams early but nothing was good

@thapimolefe @MadridXtra We had a good thing going and Vini absolutely fucked it up with his tantrums during the El Clasico. Xabi wasn’t given enough power by the board to punish Vini because of his ongoing antics regarding his new contract. This is where Xabi lost the dressing room.

🚨🚨 Vini Jr: “It makes me very sad. I don't want to be booed at home, where I feel very comfortable. And in the last few games, I didn't feel comfortable because whenever I did something wrong, they booed me. But they have the right. They pay a very expensive ticket.”

@EternalMad24998 @MadridXtra So you can believe that the organising team wouldn't have one team do a guard of honour for another but can't believe Mbappe doesn't have the power to get Xabi fired yet Vini does?

@thapimolefe @MadridXtra The aftermath of the super cup final has been blown out of proportion. The organizing team asked our players to move from there and Xabi along with some of our players did not understand it. Mbappe was just asking them to move from there. Don’t believe everything you see on here.

@Tezzathekchen He didn't like Xabi clearly and he wasn't going to pretend that him leaving was a bad thing. That's respect to himself ,his followers and Xabi. Vini doesn't have the power clearly. Mbappe however went against Xabi at the SC medals ceremony and everyone complied. That's power
