A couple of things here... I don't think the schedule has any impact on Palou's success. Palou is the best Indycar driver rn and he's driving for the best team, in a car that's completely solved. They'll be good no matter what. A new car would do more to shuffle the field.

and oval, they talked about road, street, short oval, and speedway. Indycar has the road courses, street circuits, and short ovals on lock rn, but speedways? Nashville is half the length of Indy. Places like Homestead, Chicagoland, Kansas, etc, etc could add that 4th discipline
