I can no longer recommend folks use Openclaw its amazing and i have two mac minis but Claude Cowork Computer basically does all the same things but 1000% easier like this is what most people will use it for and its so much easier to get going than openclaw

@trq212 Thariq - I got charged roughly $93 in extra usage when my session usage was under 10%, and my weekly usage was under 25%. Saw others who had a similar issue but no response from support on why this happened.

Given the PyPI supply chain attack, I recommend keeping a canary in the coalmine: I have a bitcoin private key containing $100 of BTC in my .bashrc. It's clearly labelled. If my system is ever compromised by some bad package, the BTC will get stolen, and I'll see the move on-chain. And that'll tell me that I need to rotate every single other secret. There are even services that will send you an alert (text, email, whatsapp...) if a given bitcoin address moves funds. It's good to have a burglar alarm, especially when time is of the essence.

hey @AnthropicAI, I'm unsure why our account was charged $500 for extra usage despite not exceeding daily or weekly limits (my understanding was that it was for overflow?) Also would be very helpful if the mobile view (see screenshot) showed the extra usage limits.

2 months with OpenClaw. I've built dashboards, systems and automated a lot. However, 75% of my time is in Claude Code fixing something that has randomly broken? Am I just wrapping Claude? Perplexity Computer looks quite interesting, need to look into it. I understand the appeal of a Mac Mini etc. for keeping your data local but it doesn't seem worth it to me. So am I paying all these API and VPS costs for no real benefit? I need to think about this across the weekend. This cosntant tinkering might be losing its appeal.
