A significant portion of Toronto's population is from immigrant communities including people with complicated immigration histories relative to the United States. The mayor of a city with that demographic reality saying ICE is not welcome during a major international event is not ignorance of geography. It is a direct response to what her constituents have told her they are afraid of.

The transgender attorney who was tackled to the ground after getting into an argument with an Oklahoma judge has closed down their LGBTQ law firm.
Rob Hopkins says Hopkins Law and Associates is closed down following the incident.

Transgender attorney begs for a female police officer after getting tackled to the ground before being jailed for contempt. Oklahoma attorney Rob Hopkins was caught on camera arguing with the judge. “I’m a transgender attorney practicing all over the state!” The argument continued to escalate before the judge called in officers who then took Hopkins to the ground. Hopkins was heard screaming “I can’t breathe” and begging for a female officer. Hopkins was reportedly held on a $25,000 bond.

@DDDurango @MarkBrooksArt Comic's writing has high bench marks but generally isn't complicated once getting the hang of the format. Most people who consume the medium and are reasonably creative could write a low-middling effort. Everybody writes.
Drawing? That's a lot more time and effort and rare.
