@benthompson If Trump had incited violence in the Capitol through a tweet rather than in person would that be ok? The social media posts sparked a week of proper violence across the country. It’s not an easy situation but there needs to a line somewhere. Backdoor is obviously nonsense though

Between this demand for a *worldwide* backdoor, and arresting people for social media posts, it increasingly feels like the U.K. is the greatest threat to personal freedom in the world. Certainly more than China for anyone outside China. I hope Apple is prepared to leave.

If Alpine start winning races in 2026, will this decision still be viewed negatively? Conversely, if Honda had canned their hybrid engine program after divorcing from McLaren, look what they would have missed (and to be fair to Honda, they've really TRIED to miss out on it)

I'm often asked what is it like to go to the #AzerbaijanGP, and to me it is one of the sleeper hits on the F1 calendar. It is a part of the world you may not see otherwise, the area around the track looks a lot like Paris, and the smaller crowd means more chance to meet a driver

Watching the Wimbledon final. Impressive as it is to generate this data, as a statistician I firmly believe that if you have to explain what it means, you've already lost the audience. In F1, I only send stats for broadcast if I think a casual viewer will still understand them

@3Legs4Wheels I have a *way to detailed* plan for these Friday sprints. 45 mins practice in the morning. Sprint quali - 45 mins. Sprint race 30 mins. Parc ferme opens after the sprint race. We get more exciting running on Friday than usual then we get a regular weekend

@3Legs4Wheels Run the sprints on Friday. Leave the rest of the weekend for proper racing and the Friday is like T20 cricket. Have a bash and no one cares
