@mish_1974 @EFL He never had control. Missed the Furlong arm to Batth face early on. Travis had a bit of stamp attempt on one in the second half which was missed. First goal was a foul on Vickers, seemed to be influenced by Ipswich voices in his ear all game.

@secondtierpod If it was for the “knee to the head” surely be a straight red. Ref not bothered about a second yellow until Hirst spoke to him. Travis was poor all game however, Furlong should have been booked for the forearm to the head of Batth in the early mins, and off for this also.

@RamInSweden @secondtierpod Exactly right. Got us up. Couldn’t manage in the higher level, which was a surprise to nobody. His reputation as a league 1 promotion specialist was confirmed, we got into the championship, everyone happy.

@secondtierpod I would say he did exactly the job he was hired to do, and then given a chance to show if he could take the next step, which he couldn’t, so we moved on. He was the right man st the right time.
