@vivax74 @drtimothyli We get a number of requests for testing at the ref lab but reject the request with an explanatory report comment to hopefully put off further requests. There’s a lot of misunderstanding about use of the newer antibiotics despite these helpful tables…

@theAMRdoc @drtimothyli Thanks Katie, for raising that question. I have noted many labs do that sensitivity testing for "presumed" efflux+porin loss+AmpC, and the reporting clinician was elated to know that it is "sensitive", while it made no sense from the "mechanism of resistance" perspective
