#MilitaryTouch. Zimbabwe Vice President Constantino Chiwenga left the National Heroes Acre in Harare on Monday to loud, sustained cheers from supporters, in scenes reflecting the heightened political climate in the country. The reaction, largely from ruling ZANU-PF supporters attending the burial of a national hero, comes as tensions grow over President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s push to unconstitutionally extend his term in office. The state ceremony drew senior government officials and party loyalists, but the crowd’s response to Chiwenga as he departed adds to the focus on Zimbabwe’s evolving leadership dynamics. #Zimbabwe #Chiwenga #ZANUPF #Harare #Politics

At the peak of Operation Hakudzokwi—a military operation that led to the deaths of at least 214 informal miners in the Chiadzwa diamond fields in November 2008—General Constantine Chiwenga and Air Marshall Perence Shiri spent several days at the Holiday Inn in Mutare, overseeing the violent campaign. Two helicopters transported them daily to the diamond fields where soldiers brutally slaughtered both confirmed and suspected panners. Reports suggest that Shiri and Chiwenga arrived in Mutare to safeguard the military from prosecution. While police officers in Chiadzwa wore name tags, the soldiers had no identification, and no legal actions were taken against any soldier. What happened in Chiadzwa? ⬇️

This Zimbabwean Woman sold a South African man a plate of beef stew and Sadza( Pap) at her roadside stall in Johannesburg. After eating her food, the man refused to pay her R35. A small arguement ensued over non payment. The South African man got upset that an African foreigner is talking to him like that. He brought out a gun and shot her three times in the head and throat. She died on the spot. In the video I watched, he walked away like nothing happened and tucked back his pistol behind him. He can afford a gun and bullet but can't afford a square meal. Sh!t hole country with sh!t hole people.

Need help on this issue. I was a ZRP officer and I got injured while on duty. I was never allowed to go through a medical board and I did not receive proper care. Now I am living in pain, and @PoliceZimbabwe neglected me. The problem started when I went for police retraining. I was forced to do a punishment where I had to walk like a frog, which caused a tear in my knee (meniscus). I did not receive proper medical treatment from a specialist. I was only given paracetamol. I tried to have my case reviewed by the medical board, but no one listened to me. At the moment, I cannot walk properly and I can no longer live my life normally. I had to take early retirement, even though I still had 4 years left before reaching full pension. My life has not been the same since the injury on 26 June 2025 and my retirement on 8 August 2025, as I could no longer handle the pain in my knee. I was also punished for not having a police uniform, even though I had not been issued one. This was a known issue under the Bulawayo Suburban District. How can I get help?

Trust me—aya ma steel-based stadiums being put up neMakorokoza ana Scott will not last 15 to 20 years. From a civil and structural engineering standpoint, they present serious long-term risks, and if not properly designed and supervised, there is a real danger of structural failure that could endanger lives. A properly engineered stadium must rely on reinforced concrete pillars and deep foundations to ensure load distribution, durability, and structural integrity over time. Concrete provides the necessary compressive strength, stiffness, and resistance to environmental degradation, helping the structure maintain balance and stability under varying loads, crowd movement, wind forces, and even seismic vibrations. Aya ekusunga mabhawudhi aya, bolt-based assemblies are inherently more vulnerable. They depend heavily on precision during installation and ongoing maintenance. Even minor human error during fastening, misalignment, or inadequate torque application can compromise the entire structure. Over time, exposure to variable weather conditions, heat expansion, corrosion, and material fatigue can weaken these joints, leading to progressive instability. In civil construction, redundancy and safety factors are critical. Structures meant to host thousands of people must be over-engineered for safety, not assembled in a way that leaves room for failure. What we are seeing risks prioritising speed and cost over engineering principles, and that is a dangerous path.

#dandarostreets The Victoria Falls Bridge, built over the Zambezi River in Rhodesia, was constructed in just 14 months, starting in 1904 and officially completed on April 11, 1905. The project was designed by engineer George Andrew Hobson, with stress calculations carried out by Ralph Freeman, who later became the principal designer of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. 🔴 Ahmed Hossam Mido, former Egypt international, reacts strongly to the AFCON verdict: 🎙️ “Stripping Senegal of the trophy and awarding it to Morocco is the biggest scandal in football history. This will divide Africa and we look like a corrupt continent. Africa deserves better than this.” 🎙️ “There must be a revolution in African football. These people must leave today, not tomorrow.” 🎙️ “I have nothing against Morocco. I love the country and its people. But the reality is, the game was decided on the pitch. Senegal were the best and deserved the title.” 🎙️ “I wanted to congratulate my Moroccan friends… but I cannot congratulate something that was won in offices, not on the field.” 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬? 👀 #AfricanFootball
