@Kyle_Fortune ZapMap solves many of those woes - used it for every long journey with my Polestar 2. Obvs helps having a bigger battery and decent range too. But yeah, needs planning and you can't just rock up hoping to find one.

Drove just over 280 miles yesterday in an electric vehicle, a Fiat 50OE. I needed to be in Poole, from Stratford Upon Avon, for 8.45. 100% charge when leaving, I picked the shortest route, taking me largely cross-country - so lower speeds and better economy… (a lengthy thread)
