So he’s just chasing money? Is that fair to say? I’m not mad it him for it. I’m just trying to figure out why else he would leave. He is LOVED at Ole Miss. With the playoffs to 12 and possibly expanding again in the next couple years he will be competing for Nattys every year. So I don’t get it other than the money. Absolutely sucks for Ole Miss fans. As a hog fan I have honestly wondered if I would’ve rather have had Lane the last 6 years only for him to show us the promised land right before he takes it away and we head back into the desert. I’m not sure I would. We’ve had some fleeting moments over the last 6 years and that’s basically all they have gotten out of Lane. He hasn’t won anything.
