If we were getting higher level storytelling in our entertainment, Saros wouldn’t have been reacted to so poorly.
A lead character turning out to be a villainous figure would be interesting. The issue is the anti-male rhetoric so commonly pushed in games and movies now.
You find out he was an abusive, evil man and that’s why his wife left him. He REFUSES to let her go because he’s self-centered and controlling. She felt so traumatized by a man she fell into the arms of a woman. But throughout the game there are logs that push this further that talk about finding it difficult to escape in such a bad world.
If this was the first game to have this angle in a long time, people wouldn’t care that much. But there is a very noticeable pattern happening, especially with Sony games.
People shouldn’t be circulating fake AI images. They don’t need to. The games narrative speaks for itself.

@RealLifeFakeWiz It's a shame cause the gameplay and overall atmosphere of the the world looks great. A lot of Sony titles have been doing this for awhile now. They have great worlds and mechanics but layer in dumb stories like this.
