The Lakers are emerging as a frontrunner for Aaron Gordon (per Bleacher Report's Zach Buckley + Brett Siegel)
Why he fits:
🔸 30 years old, NBA champion
🔸 16.2 PPG / 4.8 RPG this season
🔸 38.9% from 3 this year (43.6% last year)
🔸 Elite 3-and-D wing
🔸 $133M contract, 2 more years
🔸 Suns + Celtics also in the mix
Build around Luka. Pelinka HAS to make this happen. 👀

79% of Lakers fans that were polled want LeBron back 👀
21% don’t 🤔

I asked 30K Lakers fans who they’d want back. Here was the response 👀 What sticks out to you? 🤔

“LeBron James has been so great in the Los Angeles Lakers uniform. He better have a statue outside of Crypto.com Arena.”

@LakersLead He is not up to the par! Too many misses, lower basketball IQ, not protecting the paint and too many turnovers.

I’m celebrating such a glorious moment, the day the Bagless fraud retires from the game

What is your reaction if this happens?
English

@Supreme23_____ Yes he needs to go back where he started away from the Lakers for good
English

@BestBallJunkie @BookitHQ So Bill Russell at 11-1 is the goat? Or does this narrative only apply when it helps MJ
English

@LADEig Nope he sucks in the playoffs with his ego good for regular coach to get you 50 wins
English

JJ Redick’s first 2 seasons as the Lakers head coach:
50 wins in Year 1. 53 wins in Year 2. Top 4 in the West both times. First Lakers coach with back-to-back 50-win seasons since Phil Jackson. A 57-4 record when leading after 3 quarters.
He came in with zero coaching experience, inherited a roster riddled with injuries, navigated a mid-season franchise player trade, and still never dipped below the standard.
Everyone said he had no business being here. Two years later, he has proven everyone wrong.

@Jacobtheclipper I don't recall why MJ went to a bum ass team shoulda went in a contending team
English

@LukaUpdates The asstant coaches are better than JJ . They should fire that bum
English

@theMLmaster @Jacobtheclipper Ur late little man, sit this one out
English

@AkashPatel60856 @Jacobtheclipper JJ sucks as a coach in this moment
English

@Jacobtheclipper Rui, Jackson Hayes, and Austin Reaves should have had the ball. They were hot. I do not understand LeBron’s decision making in the clutch.
English

@Jacobtheclipper Lebron moved too slow to past Caruso and going up for the layup he should have made body contact with Hartenstein to draw a foul. But he probably would have missed the free throw anyway so oh well 🤣
English

@Jacobtheclipper And if he went to AR then he would have still been called “not clutch, scared of the moment” n then u would have followed with “he should have took the shot” shut ur bitch ass up, he’s still the most clutch player in nba play off history despite ur opinion
English

@Jacobtheclipper It's proves that he lack the skills to dribble penetrate and ain't clutch at all . Shouldve went to Rui or AR for the last shot

Deandre Ayton could opt out to look for a bigger payday, per @TheAthletic
“Ayton, who certainly played to his $8.1 million contract this season, had a strong first-round series against Houston All-Star Alperen Şengün. He could opt out to try to find a bigger payday with the Lakers or elsewhere.”
