Corporate was in possession of WHAT, exactly? A store full of inventory for which they had no idea whether a particular item was under consignment or not?
And then corporate sold the store AND inventory to a new franchise owner, who purchased the store AND inventory, including the purportedly consigned inventory, thus transferring all of it out of corporate's possession and into the hands of new possessors?
