I'm humbled and honoured to have received one of Britain’s prestigious civilian honours, Member of the British Empire (MBE) at an investiture ceremony at #BuckinghamPalace from Her Majesty the Queen. #mbe #queen #awards

This is so awesome. The Sikh regiments played an oversized role in the Imperial Army for centuries. It was Sikh regiments who relieved the Canadian Army at the Second Battle of Ypres. A proud martial tradition which many Sikhs continue in the @CanadianArmy today.

India mourns the loss of one of its most distinguished leaders, Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji. Rising from humble origins, he rose to become a respected economist. He served in various government positions as well, including as Finance Minister, leaving a strong imprint on our economic policy over the years. His interventions in Parliament were also insightful. As our Prime Minister, he made extensive efforts to improve people’s lives.
