Ya' know, #Xmen97 season 2 is only like 2-3 months away atp. It would be nice if they started releasing some stuff about it - character designs, concept art, cast list, etc. Actually doing something to get the show back in the conversation wouldn't be a terrible idea, dudes.

Being an "internet personality" as part of your job means you sometimes have people commenting on your appearance. It's something I don't know if I'll ever get used to completely, but there is something I'd like to clarify since some people in the comments have been bringing it up. Yes, I have lost weight. No, it's not because I'm sick (I am sick, but that's unrelated). Last Summer, I was diagnosed with Sleep Apnea and the doctor told me it would help if I lost a few lbs - weird, since I wasn't exactly overweight, but whatever. At the time, I weighed 190 lbs. Not bad for a guy who's 6'1", but I guess being a little skinnier couldn't hurt. When I started going to the gym, I set my goal weight at 180 lbs. As of a few days ago, I now weigh 177 lbs and I'm thankfully sleeping a bit better than I was a year ago. I'm toying with the idea of taking an 'after' picture in the not-too-distant future, but don't quote me on that yet. That said, I'm still sick with whatever I've been sick with for the last few years - chronic headaches, congestion, allergies, etc - the doctors can't seem to figure that out, and yeah, it has made shooting videos more difficult, but it's nothing that's going to kill me. It's really more of a comfort/quality of life thing. If you're concerned about my health, I appreciate it, but you can relax. I'm okay.

Honestly, this looks really good. I've been burned too many times, so I'm reserving judgement until I see the show, but aside from the weird Snape casting, it looks like they nailed it.

Upsetting news to hear #StarTrek Starfleet Academy will not go past Season 2. The fandom's inability to embrace any new storytelling outside of nostalgia might as well be the death knell for the fandom.
