Motion design is officially dead. I just made this demo video for @Lovable with just one prompt on motionfly.

Creating a new logo shouldn't take ages. I wanted something fast, simple and free. So I built Logo Lattice. 100% free. 100% browser based. 100% ownership of creations. Link in first comment 👀

Unpopular opinion: Framer-built websites feel slow and jittery when scrolling, compared to most website building tools. I do love framer otherwise btw. But that and the pricing model are slowly making me seek out a different solution.

Skeletons make users blame the app. Spinners make them blame the network. what's your pick, A or B?

@cesaralvarezll tbh I'd have zero patience after hearing the "voices" of these in-app characters. Would just look for the skip button.

This study app is crazy 😭 The onboarding alone probably converts better than most apps. Onboarding - Animal Crossing inspired theme - Feels like a game, not an app - Collects all the important user data - Asks for a review during onboarding - Lets you personalize your character Paywall - Pushes the annual plan first - Limited time 50% off offer - 3 day free trial If you build an app with this level of detail, conversions will go crazy. Duolingo is one of the best examples of good onboarding in an app. Onboarding - Memorable mascot - Questions to understand the user - Creates a personalised learning plan - Introduces key features like widgets Paywall - Smooth transition from onboarding to paywall - The paywall feels like part of the experience, not a sales screen - Personalised based on the language selected - 7 day free trial for the annual plan One of the most important aspects of an app is onboarding, so make it as interactive as possible. Taking the human approach across: - content creation - design - copywriting Basically all the creative, artsy fields. Development, research and data driven fields? I'd absolutely deploy AI. But writing social media content? If you wanna be authentic use your creativity.

There are only two ways now due to AI. 1. AI Maxi 2. Trad Maxi AI maxi is quite obvious, you just make use of every new update in the industry. Clawbot, Claude code, Seedance, Antigravity etc. Basically tech bro maxing. However the trad route takes the opposite direction.

What does “show value” actually mean? For me it’s simple: show the core features through video during onboarding. Clear, visual, no guessing. Based on my stats, the onboarding + paywall combo drives 75-80% of all payments. That’s why onboarding deserves your full attention - people pay when you hit their pain points exactly.
Viktor Seraleev@seraleev

Don’t show the paywall on first launch. Lead the user to the value moment. Sell them on what your app actually does through a solid onboarding. You’ll be surprised how many more users are ready to start a trial or buy a subscription right away.

What's your excuse for not pocketing 7 billion today?
Jeremy@Jeremybtc

A man with no working truck convinced Wall Street he had built the next Tesla. His company hit $30 BILLION. All he did was push it down a hill with no engine. > Trevor Milton founded Nikola in 2014, named after the same inventor as Tesla. > The goal was to build hydrogen powered trucks that would make diesel obsolete. He had no trucks. > In 2018 he released a promotional video called Nikola One In Motion. It showed a sleek semi truck accelerating smoothly down an open highway. Investors went wild. > What nobody knew was that the truck had no engine, no fuel cell, and no propulsion system of any kind. > Milton's team towed it to the top of a hill, tilted the camera to hide the slope, and let it roll. > He spent the next four years doing the same thing with words. On podcasts, television and social media. > Investors were told Nikola could produce its own hydrogen. It could not. They were told the trucks were ready for production. They were not. They were told orders were flooding in. They weren't. > In June 2020 Nikola went public. Within days the company was worth $30 BILLION, more than Ford. > Milton's personal stake hit $7.3 BILLION overnight. > A $32.5 MILLION ranch in Utah followed. A record for the state at the time. > In September 2020 Hindenburg Research published a report calling Nikola "an intricate fraud" built on "an ocean of lies." Milton resigned within ten days. > A federal jury convicted him of securities fraud and wire fraud in 2022. Sentenced to four years in prison the following year. > He never went. He was free on $100 MILLION bail pending appeal. > He and his wife donated $3.2 MILLION to Donald Trump's 2024 campaign. > In March 2025 Trump gave him a full pardon. The pardon erased $168 MILLION in restitution to defrauded shareholders. > Nikola filed for bankruptcy the following month, leaving thousands of investors with nothing. The company never had a product. The only thing that was real was the $30 BILLION valuation, the $7 BILLION that landed in his pocket and the pardon that made sure none of it had to be returned.
