Before #CBAForAfrica26, I thought the music business was mostly about talent.
Now I’m learning it’s also about community, storytelling, positioning, culture, and understanding people.
The biggest lesson so far?
Real growth happens when creative people build together, not alone.

So I’ll keep showing up, keep learning, and keep trusting that one day, everything I’m struggling to understand now will become part of my confidence.

Growth in the creative ecosystem isn’t just about talent or ambition, it’s about structure, discipline, collaboration, and constant learning. Before #CBAForAfrica26, I thought creativity ran on talent and visibility. Now I know: strategy, execution, and community matter just as much. Real momentum is built together through support, amplification, and shared purpose. Grateful for the challenging, beautiful journey. #CBAForAfrica26 @cbaforafrica

One thing I’ve learnt from the CBA for AFRICA so far is that relationships move things just as much as talent does.
A lot of people are trying to “blow”, but the people who really last understand community, consistency, timing, and positioning. #CBAForAfrica26 @cbaforafrica

Since I joined #CBAForAfrica26 every class has left me with more information than the last , one more question answered , multiple light bulb moments and a refined view of how I want to approach the industry and my role in it . Cheers to incoming greatness 🥂.

I always knew I didn’t want to be just another regular A&R by simply putting it in my IG or X bio 😅. I wanted to really learn the craft and go through the ropes.
I spoke with a friend and music executive, S/O to @BOBBYVIE_, and he recommended #CBAFA.

A few months into @cbaforafrica and I see music
completely different now.
The art and the business were never supposed to be
separate. Treating them like they are is what's been
ending careers in this industry for years.
Watch this space.

@cbaforafrica is a great platform that gives students deeper insight into the music industry. I’ve been privileged to be one of the students, and through the knowledge gained so far, I can confidently say education is the best replacement for fear ✨
