@YKoluwaseun9 ๐ฏ
Stick to your financial plan. They dont care as much as they say it. You'll notice the attitude and stonewalling. But your future is more important.
I'm learning this the hard way.

To be financially stable you need disappoint women regularly

@_nonconformist1 The fact that this guy, Portable and Pellers have serious patronizers (fan base) is a strong indicator that many Nigerians are low intellect.

@UnkleAyo Gray hair. Not white man hair.
Gray / white hair signifies wisdom/experience.

@Ayoelesho Don't mind them. Throwing around the word billions like it's a joke.

You are asking this question because you think bracket is not as important as other symbols +รรท=, but yeah, to make math complete, the symbols must be present. No gainsaying it.
I'm not a science student but from what I learnt, bracket is used in math to set priority in calculation. I.e a Solve what's inside the bracket first before engaging the rest of the expression.
(2y - 3x + 7y) + 7x(2y - 46)
First bracket: 2y + 7y = 9y, so that becomes 9y - 3x.
Second bracket: 7x multiplied by 2y gives 14xy, 7x multiplied by 46 gives 322x. So that becomes 14xy - 322x.
Now combine everything: 9y + 14xy - 325x
Used to love math.. lol. Unlike us in the humanities, science is clean.

@the_learnerd @PreshBolton I agree. My concern now is the presentation. Should mathematical expressions intended for the public include brackets where possible to make them clearer and eliminate avoidable disputes?
English

@TobechiOgazi @PreshBolton Maths is an objective truth free from right or wrong. And Bodmas is a universal rule that guide that truth. Anyone can argue but 72 is correct.
English

@PreshBolton Interesting. But should expressions like this include brackets to avoid needless arguments, or is BODMAS alone clear enough?
English

@Wizarab10 You probably have problem with numbers. Or you don't know want 1 billion means. Lmao. Stop this delusion.
English

Lagosians with N1billion are more than one million.
DREYLO@RealDreylo
There are normal boys walking around in Lagos with over 1 billion Naira in their bank accounts. Damn

This is every good man summarized in one post.
Respect to a man is what romance is to a woman. It's his love language even if he never calls it that. When a man says respect, he means don't challenge him in front of people. Don't make him look stupid in front of his friends, his family, his colleagues. Don't roll your eyes when he speaks like his opinion is inconvenient background noise. Don't spend his money carelessly then act like he's an ATM with feelings. Don't mock the way he provides just because it doesn't look the way you imagined.
Respect means when he makes a decision, you may disagree privately but you don't undermine him publicly. It means acknowledging his effort even when the result isn't perfect. The man who plans the trip, funds the experience, stays up solving problems, and shows up consistently is not looking for applause. He's looking for a partner who treats his presence like it matters. Who doesn't perform superiority over someone who chose to be gentle with her.
English

I love so deeply. Iโm like a big teddy bear to the person I love. I will be gist partner (this one you will even tire), I will be provider, I will be financial adviser, travel companion (plan the trip to any country and use my card to pay) and enjoyment buddy. I will even take a bullet for you if you are getting shot.
This is me in one person.
However, Non-negotiable is respect. Absolute respect. Thatโs all I demand in return and I know I speak for all men too.
So I donโt get all that disrespectful things couples put out in the name of content. I donโt understand.

There is zero guarantee that your future wife won't cheat. But when she does, here are things to do:
First off, any material wealth you're getting for your wife. Vest it in your name. Cars. Land. Even business. Make sure they carry your name. So she's just an appointee working on your behalf, and her stability lasts as much as her goodwill.
When you discover she's cheating, the worst thing you do is react immediately. That's how men lose everything.
First, gather evidence quietly and methodically. Document everything. Dates, times, conversations, screenshots. Say nothing. Change nothing. Your face stays normal while your lawyer gets busy. Evidence is the difference between walking away clean and walking away broke.
Second, secure your assets before she knows you know. Move financial interests into trusts where you're sole beneficiary. Review joint accounts. Get legal counsel to draft protective clauses covering property acquired before and during the marriage. The law will not feel sorry for you if you wait too long. What's jointly held becomes complicated the moment divorce papers appear.
Third, exit permanently and surgically. No second chances. No trial separation. No therapy to save something already buried. The man in this story chose punishment instead of exit and spent his remaining years shrinking. Seized car keys and restricted movement didn't restore his peace. It just extended his pain. Betrayal of that magnitude doesn't get rehabilitated. It gets removed. Divorce isn't failure. Staying is.
Make sure she takes zero material from you.

My former neighbor sponsored his wifeโs education. He bought her a car and took good care of her.
One time, my younger brother overheard her on the phone talking with a man. She hid behind the window while receiving the call.
"If I handle your dick eeh, you go confirm."
I believe my former neighbor later found out about her behavior, so he started punishing her.
He seized her car keys and stopped her from coming to his shop at Lagos island.
They moved out about 2 years later.
I bumped into him one time and saw that he was looking seriously ill.
He died in 2024.
End.

The audacity of expecting someone to financially bleed for you just to prove friendship is extraordinary. Love is not an ATM and loyalty doesn't come with a withdrawal limit. The people screaming "you didn't show up for me" are usually the same ones who have never once asked "are you okay to give this?" Friendship is not a debt collection service. If your definition of a real friend is someone who empties their pocket on demand, you don't want a friend. You want a sponsor.
English

People separate their emotions from their finances and that's not betrayal. He told you he wasn't buoyant, which was honest. He didn't say he had zero money. He said he couldn't give it away. Buying something is different from gifting it. One is business. The other is sacrifice. You can't be angry at someone for not sacrificing for you.
The moment you decided to sell, you converted a personal crisis into a transaction. He participated in that transaction fairly. If anything, he kept money in your circle instead of letting a stranger buy it. Ending a friendship over someone refusing to give what they didn't have is just entitlement wearing the costume of loyalty.
English

Youโre going through a rough patch and you reach out to your guy for financial assistance, he tells you that heโs not buoyant at the moment. You offer to sell your property and the same person agrees to buy it and you sell it to him cos you need the money. Is this a valid reason to put an end to the friendship?

@MrMekzy_ Airtel SmartConnect: 25k, outdoor unit, stronger signal, backup battery, unlimited data, works everywhere. MTN FibreX: 30k, no backup battery, works somewhere. I sold my MTN router and never going back. MTN is busy behind. But it's good, they should stay there.
English

My Mtn fibreX unlimited monthly subscription expired this morning and i wanted to wait till night before subscribing again. I bought 5gb worth of data and it finished in less than 3 hours. Nobody told me to go and renew the subscription immediately.
Moe@Mochievous
Iโll go to another country and 1GB will last me throughout my stay but in Nigeria it is like 1hr. Whatโs really going on?
