@the_libster18 Yes! It really wouldn’t bother me at all!! There would be no part of the day that I’d make it about me. I can’t wait until I’m a grandma and will make sure I have curated a wonderful relationship with DIL first

@LadyNimby My twins do this. They intentionally poop small amounts several times to get more treats. We’ve decided to only do one “poop treat” per day and now they magically only need to poop once a day lol

Gonna have to cut back on rewards for pooping for the three-year-old. “Can I have a marshmallow since I pooped?” “No! You already had a marshmallow today” “…then why did I poop again?”

Who is choosing to get an infant car seat? I’m thinking of skipping it. My husband & I are both safe drivers. I don’t actually know anybody who has gotten into a crash with their baby in the car. Most accidents seem like minor fender benders anyway. We want to avoid container baby syndrome so the whole thing seems unnecessary. This is how every anti-vax post sounds to me..

toddler also has first trimester ptsd i think cause every time she loses sight of me in the house, she will holler “mommy? where’s you at? you sick in da bed??” 🥲

@audreystayshome Absolutely! This is my second hyperemesis pregnancy and my first was with twins. Newborn twin tired was significantly easier than tired from the constant vomiting.

the pregnancy tired vs newborn tired depends heavily (not exclusively) on (a) if you’ve experienced pregnancy insomnia or not and (b) if your newborn sleeps at night at all it isn’t a competition, just different experiences

Does any other stay at home mom get super excited it’s Monday tomorrow? The start of a great week, another week here on earth with our family? Be grateful for the mundane.

@be_homestead Definitely! My favorite dates are coffee shops and playing games and just talking!

@the_libster18 Social media has pushed this ‘they need spend X amount of money on you’ and that’s where it all changes. My husband took me to coffee and it was the best time of my life

@grasscrusades I also didn’t realize it was related to bp meds. I had vasospasms so bad when I was nursing my twins and on meds for bp. I don’t have a lot of help though. I bought those gel breast pads you put in the microwave and wore them a lot.

Very vulnerable but if youve dealt with vasospasm after nursing due to bp meds please drop any tips to not hurt so bad :,,,) i am constantly against a heating pad but tn is especially bad

@mrsdobbins_ This is my second pregnancy. My first was twins and threw up every day til 3 days after babies came out lol. I was hoping that was just a twin thing but it’s not looking promising

@the_libster18 I’m so sorry that sounds incredibly traumatic. I do really think you’re gonna find healing with a planned non emergency c section though. I really do. And you’ve healed the first time despite everything so this time is bound to be better!!

What do we think about postpartum belly binders? I didn’t use one after my first but looking into it more perhaps it could be an option? I’m just not sure if it’s allowing muscles to get lazy (bc they’re getting help) and then delaying recovery that way.
