Idle thought for @substack: it would be sweet if you could set the canonical tag on posts. Then people who publish elsewhere could still syndicate their posts to Substack and be read on the Substack app. Downside if you did this: I would then suggest like 10 more things to do

Kudos to @beehiiv for making the recs unselected by default. I had to shut down my experiment with Substack recommendations because engagement from referred subs was super low and made cross-promo unfeasible. Lots of "I never signed up for this" in the unsubscribe feedback.
