If I want to take a shot in a bigger cash game or a bigger tournament, how much should I have of it myself? - Just sell action until we reach our ABI (500-1000) - We can take bigger shots if we have bigger edge and bigger equity - Given my risk profile (I have no kids, gf (I'm in the market guys), etc.), we can also take bigger shots if necessary - Kelly Criterion: apparently this is a good equation to estimate BR. I will research this and provide findings - We need to be more strict around tournaments as the variance around this is huge

@the_walkerdog i honestly don’t know, but if the date is pre-announced, then that may keep some latent interest in the app through that time frame, perhaps delaying any possible blowup

haven’t said much about this at all, but here it goes: i’ve been through this with Euler Beats bonding curve in the past which is why i’m sitting this out (in hindsight, i wish i hadn’t participated in the emergent phenomenon which grew out of it) anyway, very similar bonding curve mechanics + private chat rooms and airdrop promises we are now at the “free giveaways” stage by room owners to incentivize key holding, but that won’t be sustainable eventually there will be a big rush for the exits (admittedly, possibly from much higher) as people realize it isn’t worth keeping $20K locked to talk with even someone cool when there is a risk it could turn to $1K overnight, and newcomers will get burned hardest and it will create a toxic feedback loop my guess is they time the token drop to be *exactly* during or after the end of that first mass dump event. admittedly, some may make serious money off of that airdrop, if there ends up being any kind of sustainable use for the token (something most projects struggle with) that token will either introduce some sort of mechanic which makes this all long-term sustainable, or it just grants temporary life support for about a month before the final implosion. expect waves of interest coming and going after that, possibly with new apps which emerge to capitalize on an increasing toxic holder-base, expecting free money for doing nothing other than holding someone’s key anyway, i certainly hope i’m wrong and i’m not going to judge anyone who wants to use the app, but i don’t think i am i expect a lot of anger directed at me by people enjoying the app for writing this post, that’s ok. i just felt like i should say it anyway have fun if you’re playing, just don’t get played ✌️

(3,3) on friendtech feels like a game of chicken. Gonna be some insane collapses on the way down due to the bonding curve and big losers due to 10% extraction, but nobody doing (3,3) wants to be the first to sell

With FriendTech you get consistent and intimate access to the ppl behind the keys you hold. It’s a very interesting dynamic and value proposition. The content creator is incentivized to interact or they will lose key holders, so there are easy and obvious incentives to be active and chat with ppl. Beyond that, it’s actually refreshing and fun so far. I’m once again meeting new faces and talking to new ppl who I wouldn’t normally have a chance to interact with. Learning more about different ppl daily and creating friendships. It’s a weird Black Mirror-Esque social credit system to some extent as well. Making it extremely obvious and visible who sells and buys, putting their account face up on a board to be judged by peers. Leaving their keys vulnerable to the same treatment. Soft core PVP. As the airdrop gets closer and the incentive dies we’ll see things become more hardcore. The app will be tested constantly before then and only survive with more optimization and updates to the user experience. TVL and engagement will wane and be extremely volatile while growing pains occur. We’ll see what keys the future holds. As @Kolmetuhatta said after I bought his key for holding and buying mine since day 1: “And they say money can’t buy you friends….”
