On Friday, July 26th, team members Sofia, Kenia, and Matt presented their posters on their summer research projects at the University of Rhode Island Undergraduate Research Symposium. Thank you so much to the IronMatt foundation for helping to fund our summer research program!

Our paper explores different machine learning approaches to investigate the potential of microRNAs as biomarkers to detect the tissue of origin for CUP. We are excited to share that our paper has been published in the Journal of Medical Internet Research!

We had the opportunity to attend the two day Festival of Genomics in Boston this past week. We learned so much about single-cell RNA sequencing, as well as insights on new genomic treatments for cancer, and AI innovation for rare diseases!
