Bodycam (2025) was honestly a pretty great little found footage horror movie. It felt like, as many have likely described it, a longform VHS segment. I enjoyed the story (pretty much a police cover up gone VERY wrong), and the pacing was amazing. Only an hour and 15 and it feels like it flew. It felt a TINY bit hard to follow with the lore or world of the movie, but it was overall good. The performances were pretty good, enjoyed the effects (both practical and CG), and there's even a section that feels like a backrooms level, in a city, and I'm seriously curious how it was done, because it looked GREAT. Lots of nightmarish and backrooms looking or just....flat out fucking terrifying locations. I thought the movie was scary. There are some moments where it tries to be scary and it doesn't work, though a majority of the time, it does work. Ending was....I'm mixed on it. Cool aspects, and again, scary aspects, but....again, mixed on it. I'd say I enjoyed the movie overall. It looked great from a bodycam and dashcam aspect, and editing was pretty great too. PS. There's some commentary and interesting themes in the story, and I liked it. Won't spoil, though I enjoyed it.
