Gave my first lesson in baseball today to my English husband. I drew pictures. I explained the strike zone with pictures. It was going well until he asked if all the fielders also batted. I said they did in the NL, but not the AL. I then taught him that the DH sucks.

@notgaetti Just googled him. He's now an assistant hitting coach for the Brewers. I did not know that. Braves organist used to play Toccata and Fugue in D minor when he went up to bat. In addition to the Bach connection, it fit the scary mood one felt when he came to the plate.
