Fortunately for you, everything you’ve overcome has made you noticeably brighter, funnier, and more irresistible. Life is done testing you and is about to spoil you.

As long as I'm alive, I'll believe the plot is thickening in my favor. As long as I’m alive, I’ll be kind, but I’ll keep a little sass in my back pocket. As long as I'm alive, I'll take chances on dreams that seem crazy to most but feel like destiny to me. As long as I'm alive, I'll be passionate and unfiltered instead of trying to be everyone's cup of tea. As long as I’m alive, I’ll trust life to surprise me in beautiful ways. As long as I’m alive, I’ll trust my particular flavor of crazy to lead me exactly where I belong. As long as I'm alive, I'll make my own sunshine and trust the right people will be drawn to its light. As long as I'm alive, I'll make wishes at 11:11 because hope is a habit I refuse to break.

One day you’ll look at your life and feel in your heart “I’m meant for more than this.” It’s very important to let that launch your next era. One day you’ll feel pulled toward a life that’s expensive, expansive, and entirely delusional. It’s very important to know you belong there. One day you’ll raise your standards so high your old life can’t come with you. It’s very important to not look back. One day you’ll notice you feel more like yourself when they’re not around. It’s very important to choose yourself. One day you’ll hear “you’ve changed” and decide it’s a compliment. It’s very important to keep upgrading. One day you’ll overcome something that took more strength than you knew you had. It’s very important to give yourself credit.

Life is done testing you and is about to reward you… here’s why. Life can change for the better overnight. The same life that felt empty yesterday can overflow tomorrow. Life rarely moves in straight lines. Sometimes it goes quiet for a while… and then arrives with everything you prayed for. Nothing, nothing, nothing…. then everything all at once. Life is about to reward you because you kept planting seeds. Even when the soil looked empty. Stay optimistic. Your “everything all at once” season is coming.

I’m a delusional optimist, of course I saved the insane beachfront house on Zillow I absolutely cannot afford… yet. I’m a delusional optimist, of course I still make a wish at 11:11. I’m a delusional optimist, of course I say yes to my crazy ideas and let my resourcefulness figure out the rest later. I’m a delusional optimist, of course I still believe the universe will surprise me in beautiful ways. I'm a delusional optimist, of course I ask for the big, unreasonable thing because closed mouths don't get fed. I’m a delusional optimist, of course I walk through the nicest neighborhood in a new city and say “I can see myself living here.” I’m a delusional optimist, of course I say "I'm grateful for how this all worked out" while I’m still in the middle of it.

You're going to get everything you want in life because you’re a kind soul, but you also keep a bit of attitude tucked away for flavor. You lead with love, but you're still full of fire.

The Beautiful Rearrangement Theory. When everything feels like it’s falling apart, it’s really just the universe reorganizing the pieces to build something 100x better. The New Era Theory. If you suddenly want to cut your hair, rearrange your place, or purge half your closet, it’s soul prepping you for a new era… and it needs the old energy cleared out first. The “Expect It, Receive It” Theory When you genuinely expect things to work out for you, they start to. Life favors the delusional optimist. The Future Self Theory. When your intuition pulls you toward something you can’t explain, it’s because your future self left breadcrumbs so you’d know what to do. The “When, Not If” Theory When you say “when it happens” instead of “if it happens,” the universe starts to reward your certainty. The New Life Theory. If you wake up one day and feel a surge of “I can’t keep doing this” hit you, it’s your soul remembering what it was put on earth to do. The Audacity Theory. If you’re willing to ask for more than what feels reasonable, you unlock outcomes that don’t exist for reasonable people.

One day someone will try to make you feel delusional for wanting a bigger life. It’s very important to turn your audacity up a notch. Double down. One day your intuition will pull you toward something you can’t explain. Follow it - it’s the breadcrumb trail your future self left so you’d know the way. One day you'll be mid-sentence explaining what you deserve in a relationship and realize you've said it six times before. It's very important to walk away. One day you'll overcome something you were sure would break you and come out the other side a completely different person. It’s very important to let it launch your next era. One day you'll be getting ready for work and feel a wave of "this isn’t the life I’ve meant to live.” It’s very important to start over and never look back. One day you’ll hear yourself tell someone“It’s fine,” and know in your chest that it’s not. It’s very important to make your standards clear. All of them. unedited. One day you'll get a taste of what it feels like to bet on yourself and win. It's very important to never stop placing that bet.

Being happy alone is an underrated skill. The person who can sit with themselves and feel full instead of empty never settles for a relationship just to fill the silence. Sensing when someone's energy is off is an underrated skill. People who trust their soul’s radar end up with smaller circles but bigger peace. Trusting the delay is an underrated skill. The person who can look at a closed door and say “not yet ”instead of “never” ends up walking through a better one. Moving to a city where you don't know anyone is an underrated skill. Something about it unlocks a version of yourself that your old life was too small to hold. Having side quests is an underrated skill. The richest lives are built on dozens of small fascinations that become the stories you can't stop telling at dinner parties when you're 70. Talking to yourself outloud is an underrated skill. The person who says “I deserve better” to themselves is the same person who actually gets better. Trusting your gut over everyone's opinion is an underrated skill. Life has a way of rewarding people who bet on themselves instead of the crowd.

My favorite life hack: instead of saying "I hope this works out," say "I'm grateful for how this worked out." When you thank the universe in advance, you rewire your brain to expect things to work in your favor. My favorite life hack: keep a list of restaurants you want to try, books people recommend, or places to visit. When someone asks "what do you want to do?" you'll have an answer. My favorite life hack: learn to cook one meal really well. You'll always have something to offer friends or someone you love. My favorite life hack: take walks with no destination. Get lost on purpose. Find a fun bodega. Pet a stranger's dog. Come back with a story. My favorite life hack: don't try to be low-maintenance. If you give fire, don’t settle for sparks. The right people won't find you difficult. My favorite life hack: learn how to be alone without feeling like something's missing. Take yourself to dinner. Go to the movies solo. You're actually great company. My favorite life hack: assume the best thing that could happen is about to happen. Expect miracles. The universe responds to people who think they're worth one.

If birth months were reasons why life is about to get really good… January: You’ve let go of being realistic and you’re being delusional instead. You trust the universe is aligning things for you in ways you can't yet see. That's why life is about to reward you. February: You're not afraid to be the most passionate or most audacious person in the room. You’ve got some wildness and whimsy going on. That's why life is about to reward you. March: You chase big dreams and manifest out of thin air. You're a passionate, kind, and curious little freak who makes your own magic everywhere you go. That's why life is about to reward you. April: You’re taking the leap of faith when it makes no sense. You’re saying yes to your crazy ideas just to see where they take you. That's why life is about to reward you. May: You have your life together but always have a side quest going just to keep life interesting. You're reliable but also down to do things for the plot. That's why life is about to reward you. June: You're the "first to try" friend and that energy creates great stories. You make people feel lighter just by being around. That's why life is about to reward you. July: You're not afraid to be the boldest spice in the cabinet. You bring sunshine into every room, even when others are filling it with darkness. That's why life is about to reward you. August: You're a vibrant disco ball of energy, not a dimmed light in the corner. You're delightfully unhinged in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire. That's why life is about to reward you. September: You'd rather be a hot mess living life fully than perfect playing it safe. That's why life is about to reward you. October: You’re a kind soul but still have a fire inside you when life calls for it. You're willing to look ridiculous in the pursuit of joy. That's why life is about to reward you. November: You live a life of mischief and shenanigans instead of playing it safe. You choose lightness over taking life too seriously. That's why life is about to reward you. December: You gallivant through life as if joy is the whole point. You're a joyful little maniac about creating a life you love. That's why life is about to reward you.

I like people who are kind souls but still serve a little attitude when needed. I like people who dress for themselves and give zero energy to anyone's commentary. I like people who can’t help but be a bit extra because that’s their factory setting. I like people who are dependable in real life and unhinged in the group chat. I like people who have zero poker face and you always know what they’re thinking. I like people who do things for the plot. I like people who have their life together but will randomly book a flight because it felt right. I like people who “don’t go out” and then randomly become a social butterfly for exactly one night. I like people who are a little dramatic, but in a way that keeps life interesting.

If life’s been taking more than it’s been giving, I want to remind you of something. If life’s been plot twist after plot twist after plot twist. If you’ve lost people, plans, sleep, or a version of yourself that was happy… Optimism doesn’t mean pretending it’s all “for the best.” It means trusting that life doesn’t take without preparing a return. Optimism says life always keeps receipts of what you’ve been through and eventually balances the scales. It honors what you've endured. Everything you've survived, everything you've overcome, everything you’ve had taken from you - it's all being converted into something else. Something beautiful. Something coming. Life’s about to pay you back in ways you can feel: doors open, money flows, love finds you, and life gets good again. Life is done testing you and is about to reward you.
