Ridiculously short sighted by Lancs. The free YouTube channel is their shop window. It’s a massive opportunity to draw in casual fans so that they get excited enough to come along in person (and maybe even become a member and bring other people). What’s happened to the public awareness of cricket in this country since it went behind a paywall in 2005? Are Lancs still a cricket club or are they just another sport-based business that’s out to fleece their fans?

@aron_seb85252 @WG_RumblePants He’s not against it, he’s been one of the biggest drivers. Bumble is a useful idiot for the Lancs board and Lancs fans and members should stop idolising him. The board trot him out as a friendly face everytime they make a shit decision that screws over the future of the club.

@parkinsonross I can see the other side to this though. My parents bought a house near a school in the 1980s when kids walked to school, now its chaos. Likewise folk will have bought a house near Alty's ground when crowds were barely 3 figures and it wasn't an issue, and now it is.

@CallumHallett6 Over the past 15 years the attendance has doubled and I bet car usage has risen. So I can get it. Sister in law lives near by never been blocked in or had an issue. So it’s not carnage from what I’ve seen.
