@ramit I'd rather spend my money on my health and happiness than on doing things I don't like with people I don't like and/or trying to impress society. I spend less on alcohol, events, and electronics and more on nutritious food, health optimizers, and yoga/strength training. 💪

Because once I learned people gain weight for stress it clicked
When I started praying (my form of meditation)
I saw weight loss and a clearer conscious

Meditation does a (good) number on your heart, in part by lowering blood pressure. You lower blood pressure, you lower the risk of heart attack and stroke, it’s that simple. Heart disease and stroke, taken together, are by far the most common killers in our society.

@markmanson Agreed! Wish I would have started in my 20s! 😅 But hey, at least we figured it out now and not in our 60s or beyond. 🤗
