Has anyone on my TL found a real Arc replacement yet? Now that @browsercompany has stopped maintaining it, every new bug makes the need more urgent. I've tried Dia, Comet, Brave, and others, but nothing matches Arc's swipe-to-switch profiles + vertical tabs combo. What am I missing?

For nearly a month, our Instagram account has remained suspended after a false copyright complaint filed with Instagram by @HDFC_Bank We believe this complaint was incorrect, yet despite repeated attempts to resolve the matter directly with @HDFCBank_Cares , we have not received a clear resolution, only repeated requests to “wait” and new dates. Because of this, our business and the content we create for our followers has been completely halted on Instagram. This situation is causing real losses for us and preventing us from sharing useful content with the community that has supported us for years. We are now left with no option but to escalate this matter publicly. If anyone here has dealt with a similar issue or has advice on the next steps, including possible legal remedies, we would genuinely appreciate your guidance. If you value the content we create and want to help us get our account restored, please consider reposting this thread so it reaches the right people. Thank you for your support. @HDFC_Bank @HDFCBank_Cares @instagram

@thecoffeehog Lol no high AMB required for it.. Just ask them to apply for a card with code RPJ. It would be in the debit card selection dropdown.

The only reason we use credit cards abroad is for better fraud protection and reward points. I would never use a fintech card that offers no rewards and is linked with less popular card issuers just for 0% forex markup. If you genuinely want a 0% forex card and don’t care much about fraud protection, just go with the SBI JCB Debit Card. It has 0% markup and can also be used for various JCB international offers.

@ankurmittal went to the SBI Branch to open a new account and requested a Rupay JCB debit card. The executive said you need a high AMB for that. I said I am happy to deposit a large amount, but they said it's not possible. Any suggestions? I have gone ahead and still asked them to open the account with the Rupay Global Card which they were offering.

@ankurmittal Any recommendations for 0 cash withdrawal fee and 0 forex debit/credit cards for foreign ATM withdrawals. For countries which are cash heavy like Japan?

@wholetruthfood @twitellectual Your 2kg protein powder packaging needs a rethink. The ziplock isn’t trustworthy enough to store the pack as-is, and transferring it to another container almost always creates a mess due to the packaging design from inside. I get that you avoid plastic tubs and want simpler logistics, but a more user-friendly, transfer-safe design would really help. Anyway, need to get back to cleaning the mess.

Thank you, this is very interesting. But it seems the buy/sell difference for JPY is 20%. Thomas Cook is giving 0.46 JPY/₹ when the rate is actually 0.58 JPY/₹ For USD their spread seems to be 4%, but 20% for JPY. I will check the other options you mentioned. Appreciate this.

Still can’t wrap my head around Why well-salaried folks, who already have solid credit cards, still using Go Niyo Debit Card for FX spends? 🫣 All in the name of 0 forex. Sure, you save the Forex Markup which goes highest to 3.5% for most credit cards, but many of such people I know already have DCB or Infinia. They can still be net +ve. Awareness in the FOREX Spend space is honestly so low. At the very least I suggest them to go for an AU Ixigo zero forex card or Scapia at least so that you can still earn some rewards on international spends Go Niyo really did crack the 0% forex market early, but it’s wild how people continue using it even after all the goof-ups and it not being so lucrative anymore. Sometimes it’s genuinely hard to convince these folks that their credit cards could still leave them net positive with rewards 🤷‍♂️ Linking below Threads that makes deciding which CC to use for Forex Spends with net effective returns so much easier 👇🏻

@thecoffeehog @ankurmittal Yes, that's the case with Mayura as well. 199+GST, plus anything else the local bank may charge. No interest and no FX Mark-up. The only time I needed to withdraw cash was in Cambodia (USD), the local bank didn't have any additional charge.

@monishn @ankurmittal Some ATMs have extra charges when you withdraw from a credit card vs a debit card. At least that’s what it seems online. Do you have personal experience withdrawing internationally with Mayura?
