Haven't posted in a while, have been busy. Tomorrow is my first Father's Day, and today is my 10th Anniversary at @RedHat. Incredibly blessed!

Fixed my air conditioning system on my 25 year old truck with my Dad on Red Hat Recharge day. Replaced several parts: compressor, condenser, drier, and valves. Thanks @RedHatJobs for the opportunity to rest and truly recharge. #lifeatredhat

Open source fundamentally changed the world of software. Where others may have seen fear or disruption, I saw potential from my first experience with open source. And it defined my career, along with millions of others. We are at the same point with AI. #RHSummit

Flea market find. Made in USA American Tourster international electrical adapter set from 1992, with a @Kmart sticker. Couldn't pass that up for $5.

Time to move on. Sold my 2012 Chevy Cruze with 78k miles back in October. I owned this for 12 years (it was my first brand new car). Great memories. It's going to a good home: A father who will use the car until his son is of driving age next year.

I installed new brakes on my truck today, awesome that rotors and calipers from a 2024 Silverado fit my 2000. 14 in makes a big difference with 4 piston calipers with stopping distance. Stock came with 12 in and 2 piston. My new spare fits too!

Replaced shifter and shifter cables this weekend. No more rattling in 4th gear, torn leather boot, and worn handle. Happy with the final outcome, shifts like new.

Out with the old, in with the new. New garbage disposal is much quieter and more powerful (3/4 HP).
